Ludwig's Star Roses

A great place to go to if you like roses. All kinds of roses can be found here with all sorts of colours. The staff are all very friendly and provide great solutions. They also have some gardens at the top which have very colourful roses.

Mr. Ludwig is the Snoop Dogg of roses that's for sure. The friendliest and most passionate staff and massive rose selection are a few of the reasons to visit. After attending an educational event at the rose farm in Hillcrest, I used that knowledge and produced what you see in the photos. Cannot recommend this place enough.

We expected the usual nursery experience: arrive, pick a few plants, pay and leave. Instead we were treated to a remarkable, insightful consultation with Phelelani who took the time to listen to our wish list, give us an informative walk through the garden of established rose bushes and help us select the perfect roses for our garden! His knowledge about roses and their care is astounding his passion is contagious and his patience was next level as he humoured us while we sniffed every bloom and ooh’d and aah’d over some of the more unusual offerings. The plants all look very healthy and are clearly well cared for. What a treat, we will definitely be back soon. I cannot recommend Ludwig’s Roses strongly enough, this kind of service and attention to detail is very rare to find these days. Well done!

What a beautiful place with hundreds of roses I've literally never seen that many different types in my life. I had a walk through the garden on a blistering hot day and was offered an umbrella so I could walk and look under shaded cover. I highly recommend for all the rose lovers!
