A few friends and I stayed at a property under their management for 2 years2021-2022, throughout our contracts there were constantly issues with cleaning and garden services which were promised in our contracts but we never made a big deal and did our part to maintain the property. There labourers stole from us and always put in the least effort possible. In October of 2022 we ended our contracts and gave our 1 month notice so that November would be our last payed month. After about a week we were informed that the contract had been changed and we would loose our deposits if we gave our notice, this didn’t make sense to us as we had never been informed about changes to the contract after the 1st year but after a few days they agreed that they would pay our deposits back by January of 2023. We did our outgoing inspection and no form of documentation was ever signed, even at the beginning of our lease agreement, nevertheless we were approved and we moved out on time. During February of 2023 we still hadn’t been payed our deposits and after questioning this we received and email of all breakages within the house and the garden… 3 months after moving out and we had our inspection, new tenants had moved in and another inspection took place with none of us present and it somehow still relates to us, we all get charged a sum total of about R19 000 for breakages! The invoice mentions a whole lot of previous breakages, new breakages that we didn’t even know about or understand as well as no specifications on pricing per item, just a list and a total. We are yet to receive the money, we have been blocked on all platforms and they are not responding to emails. In my opinion and from this situation alone I’d never trust this company for even a second. These people will try and scam you!
I made use of their accommodation services for a year and I can safely say that they are extremely professional. This is evident with their quick, friendly and efficient responses. I have had no issues working with the Lukisa Property Management Group.
This is my second year staying at one of the places managed by Lukisa PMG and they are amazing in terms of the well being of their tenants and they are very understanding . My overall experience with them has been nothing but great.
This is my third year staying at one of the houses that is managed by lukisa property management group and they honestly care about their tenants and their well-being. If any student needs a place to stay I highly recommend these people
