Scammers!!!!  I saw an ad on Facebook  Marketplace for a very decent Mercedes  Benz a200 2014 for R45 999.  I contacted the dealership, the car is available, they said. The only problem is, that I have to pay 30% deposit into their "business account" for the privilege to  keep the car out of auction, so that I can view it at convenient time as I was only available on weekends It turns out , that M.E.S car sales is not a registered business, which makes the dealership illegal. My concern was, how was I to  pay 30% of the price, for a car I have not seen yet.  I'm sure, if I paid the deposit, later it will turn out, that the car was sold or worst, that such car never existed.  I also asked for the more photos and the VIN number, so that I can check out the car, my request was denied.
