Mahikeng Lodge

What a beautiful and clean place. The views are breathtaking! The chalets are well maintained and neat. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the deck and balconies. The pool area is amazing. We received a such a warm welcome from the manager who personally fetched us from the entrance. The housekeeping team was waiting for us upon our arrival and they helped us with our luggage. They kept the place clean and assisted us with all we needed. Our highlight was definitely the Game drive, we were in touch with nature and the wild animals. I highly recommend Mahikeng lodge, if you’re looking for a place where you can switch off and reset this is definitely the place for you. Great for the whole family! Thank you guys!

We were greeted with a smile and open arms on arrival. Our stay was awesome, accomodation and service was impeccable. Oom Herman, Shane and the ladies were very helpful. They went an extra mile for all our additional request. We'll definitely come back!!!

The overall service and the facilities were simply phenomenal. I am exceptionally impressed with Simon who went above and beyond his call of duty. He definitely made it a memorable experience and I will definitely return in the near future!!!Rooms: 5/5

The reception we got from the animals on the way to the Lodge and the welcoming of the staff was . Very helpful staff. Surroundings are tranquil, I can't wait to come back in summer to experience the full beauty of the place. Thank you to Simon for assisting us with our car and his patience. Definitely coming back! One thing though, the game drive price is a bit steep... Pls consider revising the game drive drive charge, but the hotel rates are reasonable.

We visited the lodge last weekend, the manager was Mr Herman, the lodge looks very stunning full of nature, clean, the accomodation was super perfect for one who needs refreshment. The stuff was very helpful,thanx to kelebogile, precious and kefilwe, it was like we knew u long ago but im supper happy that I got to experience the lovely place n kind PPL like u guys.

We really loved staying at Mahikeng lodge ! Everybody from the lodge was so kind and generous.The place is awesome, comfortable,very clean and neat rooms, we saw lots of animals so close to the car. It was really worth it. Game Driver Simon was amazing. Everything was perfect! Nothing to complain it really exceeded our expectations

My colleagues and I had the best weekend ever. This place is incredible and the landscape made us feel we were in some forest island. We also enjoyed the Game drive with Simon who was so helpful and didn't mind all the questions posed at him. Can't wait to come back again. Thanks Janet.Rooms: 3/5

We were welcomed by a very humbled, down to earth and friendly gentleman by the name of Simon Siaga. He made our stay a very relaxing and comfortable together with the house keeping ladies who made sure our rooms are clean and smelling fresh all the time.Simon 's assistance was 24/7. The only person who spoiled my holiday mood was Janet with her attitude when she wanted to check if photo shooting people that we booked arrived at the lodge. She was very harsh actually harsh is understatement she was very rude , her tone of voice over the phone spoiled my day. It will be so nice if she can just improve her attitude towards customers, because to my little understanding respect attracts a lot of things. Anyway my overall stay was nice and thanks to Simon and our house keepers, keep it up guys will come back soon and definitely will recommend the lodge to my friends and family even other people I know.

The weekend of the 26th-28th of July 2019, a few friends and I decided to indulge in a spontaneous little trip to get away from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg, boy oh boy did we find just what we were looking for. I was assisted by Janet Sedgwick who ensured that we got a booking for the requested dates and she was extremely helpful her communication was exceptional. We booked an entire home at Mahikeng Lodge and we were told we would be assisted by a gentleman by the name of Simon Siaga upon arrival of which we were, I commend his impeccable work ethics also how amazingly friendly and warm he was to us during our stay. Our game drive was also a just as spectacular as our stay, we definitely plan on heading back to this destination as soon as Spring/Summer kicks in. Highly recommended!
