Amazing experience. What a pleasure to book and deal with this team. Our guide was informative, professional, friendly and made so much effort in securing our safety at all times, sharing history and stories. We were able to take many pictures, see things that will usually be missed. Vehicle was geared for this trip, clean and neat and in top condition. Highly recommended!!! Well priced and was an absolute pleasure and treat.

A pleasurable and professional experience by Major Events. We will definitely recommend them to anyone wanting an experience to remember. Warren our tour guide gave us more than we bargained for. Sonya was very pleasant as well. What really blew our minds was that she came back to our departure spot in the afternoon just to say goodbye and confirm if all went well. More than just business. These people are tops.
On the 28/06/2022 we went on a trip to Sani Pass with Major Adventures. What an amazing experience. We previously visited Sani Pass in 2019 with another company however our trip with Major Adventures was definitely far more exciting and cheaper than our previous trip, Definitely value for your money. Our tour guide Warren was amazing. Will definitely be using Major Adventures again.
What an absolutely amazing experience!!! We drove from Umhlanga to Underberg an met the Major Adventure team there. They were on time, very welcoming and professional! We did a day trip. Leaving Umhlanga at 5:45am and back at 18:15pm. Warren was our tour guide and he is nothing short of amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area, often stopping to point out different animals, birds and plant species. Always taking the time to explain. He went the extra mile!! Even stopping at certain spots to take photo’s for is. Sani pass is a must see but a very bad road. I would never attempt it on my own, but we felt safe at all times. Highly recommended!
We had the privilege of being catered for by Charles and Gardi on our recent Ponda Hike on the beautiful Wildcoast. This was through Active Escapes and cannot rave enough about the excellent food ..friendly smiles and always willing to give the extra mile. The chicken curry was a win and packed lunches were 5 star!! We left like we had known them for years and hope we got an opportunity to experience a Sani Pass or Lesotho Adventure with them in the near future. Ingrid
Professional, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. Traversing the ragged dirt road of the Sani Pass with David as our experienced guide was a true pleasure. Every view is a painting. The Lesotho border post was a pumping party on the edge of the plateau the day after Christmas. Sitting in a rondawel with steaming fresh Basotho bread in one hand and an enameled cup of vinegary home brewed beer in the other was a rare treat. This small snippet of Basotho culture and the majestic mountain landscape with its cornucopia of delicate wild flowers far out-weighed our meal at the highest pub in Africa. But that too was fun. If you're looking for someone to take you on a fun adventure, you're looking in the right place.
On the 14 March 2023, My husband and I took a trip to Sani Pass with Major Adventure tours. What an experience. Wow. The scenery was breathe taking and our tour guides narration and knowledge just made us extra special. Thank you Elias and Mojor Adventures. Will definitely share the experience with friends and family.
Was an amazing experience, and we had the best guide. Ellias knew everything you could possibly know about the Sani Pass. Everything from all the fauna and flora, the geology of the mountains, and the rich history of the Pass and the Basotho people. He also has the sharpest eyes of anyone I’ve ever met, able to spot camouflaged lizards and small rodents from the moving 4x4. Couldn’t be safer than in his hands with this 13 years of experience driving the pass and his military background before.
We had a really great day with the Sani Pass Tour. Ellias is hilarious person a knowledgeable guide and an excellent driver. We can only recommend this place !!!
