Everything is a scam. I bought an inverter and promised to have a one-year warranty. When I went to repair it, it said that the appliance was only half a year old. But I only expired in two weeks, and finally opened it by myself. It turns out that the battery is old, but the shell has been replaced.
The new building is packed full of gems. Butchery and fresh fruit and vegetables available. Helpful staff and the car guards are friendly and do a great job.
They rebuilt it better. The only problem i have is that they dont have fridges/mini fridges near the cashier counters with refreshments. One time ibwas so thirsty and there was nothing. What a disappointment
Dear Makro Management, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the lack of urgency and care shown by your company towards my recent complaint. As a 76-year-old pensioner, I purchased an inverter from Makro for R15500, and after just three weeks, it stopped working completely. In my desperate situation, I arranged for my son-in-law to return the faulty product on my behalf. He explained to your staff that the inverter was essential for an elderly lady who is left alone in the dark with no security or lights. Despite your personnel committing to expediting the process, this promise has not been fulfilled. Despite continously following up on this no action has been taken to resolve this. As you can imagine, this is unacceptable and extremely distressing for me. I feel as though my plight has been disregarded, and my trust in your company has been broken. It is distressing to note that Makro management has not taken the necessary steps to address my concerns. This has left me with no other option but to explore other alternatives as it seems that Makro does not care about the plight of a senior citizen who has been left alone and in the dark. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to pass on the refund without any further delay.
"New" Makro! Awesome. New parking layout, complete new store look and layout. Much better than the previous store. It is lighter and appears more spacious. The staff are happy and friendly. It is so nice to shop here.
PMB makro. Very small compared to the one that got burnt down. However they have stock of things that you may need. Staff are incredibly helpful and happy to help you. It was easy to find and the signs from the road are clearly marked. Worth the drive to support them.
Love this new store but often can't find a price for something and have been charged a different price than that on the shelf. Check your till strip before you drive away.
Online shop is obviously dishonest. My wife ordered a laptop desk and received a different one to the one she ordered. Online swap was arranged and after 2 weeks no attempts were made to fetch the wrong item. Additionally, I find it suspicious that the Makro online store does not allow a screenshot of the orders page. It seems that Makro would prefer it if the customer did not have photographic evidence.
Very happy that this store has reopened, however they have a number of items that never seem to be in stock yet are in stock at the other makro stores. The staff in the aisles are constantly in the way when you are trying to get to goods on the shelves, surely the majority of restocking should be done earlier in the morning prior to the store opening. It's massively irritating
It's a good and well maintained with a big space for parking plus always reliable
