I had my nails done yesterday at The Treat for the first time. The experience was not really a treat. The lady who did my nails was a sweetheart, but she absolutely destroyed my nails. It felt like she filed my nails down to the bone, she was working hard. My nails felt thin and brittle afterwards. Even when she handled my cuticles it felt like she was trying to push it all the way back to my knuckles. The gel product they use is absolutely garbage, because it hasn’t even been on a day and it is already chipping and peeling. Not even the staff believe in the product and that should have been a red flag then already.Service: Manicure
Been going here since I moved to joburg and always have a good experience and leave with amazing nails but today a lady who has never done my nails before absolutely made a mess of my nails. She hurt me and after I bled continued to file so roughly and the worst part is I asked for the most simple set I’ve ever done and all my nails are different sizes and shapes. So awful I’m embarrassed to even have these nails.
Had Belinda do my nails who was in a rush to go and attend to a private client. At some point I had to file my own nails. She left my nails uneven I had to ask her if this was normal service. Worked through hurriedly as her client was fetching her. She did this all through chewing gum loudly and irritated that I had arrived at 13h45 and they close at 15h00 on a Sunday. Don’t bother. You get what you pay for. Had a awful experience. I walk in and was about to leave, then one of the ladies ntombi seated me in one of the chairs for pedicures, as though she was about to do my nails and just left m there for 40 minutes. Never going back, again. They’re lucky there’s no competition.
Very easy to get help. You just arrive and the ladies assist. The prices are good and there is a range of treatments that are on offer.
I did my nails on Friday the 20th Jan 2023 on Saturday the next day my nails were lifting already;they did not last for atleast 3days.HorribleService: Manicure
Really disappointing service. Staff have an attitude and management don't take responsibility for mistakes. Going home with cuts all over my fingers.
I got a manicure and pedicure with Ntobi ,she was so friendly and chatty and made the entire experience feel like we were among friends.While I could have gotten gel nails for cheaper elsewhere, i really appreciated their great customer service and they both did my nails very nicely! Definitely going back
Waiting 2.5 hours to get my gel toes and nails done. Really disappointed at the managers efforts to see that I get tended to in a timely manner.Service: Acrylic nails
Poor quality of work. My nails are off shape. It took her 2 hours and 45mins! Also, I had to go back for a top coat the next day because they FORGOT to do it on the nails I had artwork on. Will never go back.
