Although the structure is clean and the rooms are pleasant, the service is subpar. Students are only permitted to use 4 gigabytes of WiFi per day, and it connects very slowly and doesn't support simultaneous connections from several devices. There is just one dedicated study room in the entire building, so plan your visit for after business hours to avoid crowds. A problem is having hot water as well. To take a hot shower in the morning, you must get up extremely early; else, you would perish.
Gateway is not bad but they don't care about their client's complains. Their bus service is not reliable. This year they booked me a room before sending out notice that their rates have increased. And they're refusing with my booking fee money even though they booked me without informing me about the changes first.
It's safe, security is always on the look out. And the place looks very well taken care off!!!
The rooms are nice and the building is well maintained but the service is poor. Wifi is not uncapped, students are only given 4 gigs per day, also very slow in connecting and it doesn't allow multiple devices to connect to it at the same time. The whole building only has one proper study room, you gotta go there off peak hours as it gets full. And also hot water is an issue. You have to wake up very early in the morning to shower with hot water or else you're doomed. The washing machines and dryers are not enough to accommodate the number of students. The dryer room has 3 out of 6 dryers working and it has been like that the whole year, no change at all or plans of fixing/replacing them. Lastly the white guy at reception is very rude to students.
In the receptionist they this accommodation is always full even it isn't... they are not professional
Beautiful place where you feel welcomed and highly respected
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They stole my clothes in my room and they did nothing about it. They jus said, it's not their problem imagine!!! And with wifi? Oh my God . I don't even want to mention water. They don't care abt students at all.
Beautiful place and clean environment
The place is very nice... the rooms are one of the best you'll ever find... a shop is available so you don't need to go out a lot... there's a swimming pool and a soccer/netball field for when you need breather... something needs to be done about the WIFI though... I even struggled for like 30 minutes just to get to the point where I can write a review using Gateway WIFI
The place is fine like it just need good care from stuff that's all
