Extremely poor service for a student residence. Disputes are not treated seriously, and the wifi is terrible. If you're a student looking to stay there, I wouldn't suggest it. even in the cold, no hot water. There is only one elevator, and it occasionally breaks down. The welcome area is only a facade for what's truly within. Yeah, and there are cockroaches all over the place.

For the longest time I defended J one. Truth be told, they take advantage of students and their services are poor. They are quick to chase after students and lock them out if their rooms for rent, but can't return the promptness when they have to pay back deposits. It has been three months now and I am still waiting for my deposit. All I get is story after story or no response at all. I WANT MY MONEY!!!

had the worst experience ever at this place. the services are sooo bad from Wi-Fi, electricity, laundry, transport, maintenance and the worst part about it is that the management team is very bad at communicating with the students and their staff isn't friendly either.

Dudes this place sucks, they protect thieves from police in here, people steal in the building...There was only one elevator that didn't even go to all the floors and is currently inactive, they charge you just to open the door R 75. Only one washing machine. Worst wifi on the planet...on god. Most unprofessional staff I've ever encountered. Appliances don't work and good luck requesting help from management when you need. Who knows what other dark dealings go on there. Cleaners clean when they feel like it, If they are on lunch break, good luck getting service. Interesting fact... Very very bad service for a student accommodation. Complaints are not taken seriously, wifi is really bad I wouldn't recommend it if you are a student wishing to stay there. No hot water even in winter. Only one elevator working and sometimes it doesn't work. What you see in reception is not what's really inside it just a front. Oh also cockroaches everywhere in the building.

My god this place is awful, firstly there is only one small elevator that works for a building with 11 floors around 400 students, plumbing is really bad, there is no hot water for 80% of the time, cockroaches are a hazard I’m surprised they passed a health inspection. Very poor management and very unprofessional . Only 2 washing machines available, which don’t even wash properly. The worst Wi-Fi you can have, almost failed assignments because I couldn’t submit. Area is very noisy. Appliances do not operate properly, stained walls due to burst pipes, the bus service is also trash, bus driver will pass stops and they are forever late. overall the worst experience you could ever have. If it was possible to give a negative review. I would give them -1000. P.S. Don’t believe the 5 star reviews, they are fake!

I don't recommend any student to stay at this place. I've stayed here 2 years and it's really frustrating. Firstly it's the WiFi. People including myself literally complain everyday about the WiFi and since it's exam sessions, it's really bad..secondly, in the am's there is no hot water, you'll wait till afternoon, trust. Please do not waste your time going to even check it out. Maintenance is really bad!!!! You request a new mattress and wait the whole year to get a new one, btw, you won't even get it. Really boring too since there are no entertainment rooms, just study rooms at 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor. One lift is working not to mention the laundry service. Imagine only two machines working for the whole building of 11 floors. Plus the bus service has been bad the whole year, you'll literally wait on campus for the bus to arrive 20-30 mins after the actual time it's supposed to be there. Bad, bad place to stay at, nxx!

It is clean looking. The building is clearly well taken care of. The rooms are quite small especially if you opt for a sharing. the beds are parallel to each other so there's little privacy. Personal space? Who is she? The bathrooms in the rooms I was shown were clean. The single rooms are cozy but not worth the price in my opinion. I think it's an okay place to live if you're okay with the extreme lack of privacy. I almost forgot to mention that the bathroom is right ,and I mean directly, in front of the sleeping area so if you're a shy loo goer it's not the best for you. 2/5 stars.

The worst student accomodation ever. Basic services that are stipulated in your lease are not met; barely any hot water supply, erratic Wi-Fi, elevators barely work, terrible maintenance. Grossly overpriced as well. Would not recommend.

They always have wifi problems, the water operates with electricity and they don't even have generator so when it's loadshedding we are not studying,eating nor bathing. The bus has problems every week, we use same transportation with people traveling to other Provinces,one time I almost got in a bus to durban thinking we're going to campus.
