Great place to buy Fruit and Veg at a fraction of the price
It's was the best to shop, but with agriculture suffering due to lack of rain business is suffering and on Friday one the major bulk stores has liquidated but go and support them. It been there for over 100 years and we have enjoyed the benefits of the vendors there, providing the best fresh produce at the best prices. Perhaps it shall be a heritage site. This Durban Market once thrived and supported the entire KZN outlets that sold fresh produce. The vendors you used to see on The sidewalks used to get their goods directly from here, but now it has quickened down. It needs your support to survive, don't let what happened to the Clairwood Racecourse happen here. We have enough shopping malls but no fresh produce fares, where it can be made exciting for the young generations to enjoy. Ideal place for harvest festivals
