This was the first time I have ever been to a game lodge, the 3 nights I stayed there for were awesome very beautiful campsite and huts, it is a game hunting lodge and my reasons for my rating on this beautiful place are because, even though the campsite is amazing, twice we ran out of water we were a pax of 17ppl, loadshedding does not help either but the water was not attended to when power came on, it seemed like it was to much work for the manager to go and sort it out, made it like it was our problem we used so much water. We were all there for hunting game, the manager I don't think understood what we were there for and that was to hunt when we needed to at any time from sunrise to sunset and the manager was reluctant to be taking the hunters out on our request, manager preferred to tell us when we should go and how many should go, this was not the case previously according to other sources that were in our group. Manager almost seemed to do the hunting on his terms rather than at our request. We sensed a bit of attitude towards some of the rookie hunters. We are greatfull that he put us in good positions to hunt the animals we wanted. The trackers know what they are doing and helped most of the hunters on foot track down the game get them in the best position to make the shot in difficult bush. Other than that it is a wonderful experience and magic place to even relax if you are not hunting!
