I'm not a meat eater but when I was this was/this is still the place for good grilled meat.The chakala, spinach & butter-nut with pap will remind you of that Sunday 7 colour lunch you grew up with.The music let's just say leave your heels at home.

Beautiful place to hang out with your friends, great vibe, great food.

Overall, great food and an awesome vibe. BUT, gets too full, and the waiters can be completely unhelpful. No system of getting patrons tables, you just have to be nice to someone about to leave.

0/10. A total waste of valuable time going there. WORST SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY. Went there Saturday night with two of my friends. FIRSTLY: We struggled to find the place, no form of signage what's so ever for their Fourway/Sandton/Whatever branch. When we eventually found the place, it looks dirty & disorganizedNot sure if this is the whole idea. Now to top it OFF: WE HAD TO BEG FOR SERVICE as all the waiters were walking past up for almost an hour. It appeared as though they were busy focusing on their regular clients and offered no service or attention to others. After Begging for service, we are eventually given three filthy menus to look at! Pathetic! Their website is deceiving & overselling them.

It's upmarket with great music for Friday and Saturday nights. To my surprise, they serve African food which tingled my taste buds. I can't remember the art time I had a fumbling until I saw it on their menu

05.05.2017 If you a meat lover and looking for something different then give this place a chance. I never had the chance to try them while they were in Bryanston, so I was glad to be invited along for this one. I came here with some colleagues celebrating a birthday. It was still early so it wasn't that full and we were about 15 people. It's got a great view for the sunset... and it's nice and open. The service is quite slow so you can wait a while. We ordered like a platter of food to share amongst us. We had Steak, Chicken, Chops and Boerewors with Pap and Dumplings. The Vegetables given were Spinach, Butternut and Chakalaka. Meat was cooked perfectly and was very tasty, along with the pap and veggies. Had to wash it down with a good old Fashioned Stoney Ginger Beer, with Vodka and Lime. DELICIOUS.

You guys need to decide whether you have waiter service or not. There's nothing worse than arriving at an establishment and just having waiters frantically walking past you. So now what? Do I sit, do I stand? Am I gonna get served, should I leave?

WORST NIGHTMARE EVER !!!!!!!!!! yesterday went to Mash with my colleagues so disgusted how the waiter, supervisor/manager and the security at the door treated me. went outside when they were about to close and left 11 people inside. To my SURPRISE they come running after me that I can't leave without paying for the bill. YET people that were inside were sorting out everything. They took my bag... what makes me ANGRY the most is that when I got there I was drunk already and only had a glass of TAP water with ice. I was HARASSED for nonsense...They didn't even have the decency to apologize after the bill was paid. Never going back to that SHEBEEN

Love the view and the place is cool

The service was suuuuuuuuuper slow and the food and drinks are bit on the steep side. Wasn't really busy on a Friday night, which was strange but the music got better as the night went by.
