Picolinos

This is not a place I frequent but we went for a birthday lunch. The service was appalling, the waiters were run off their feet. To try order was impossible I continously went looking for the waiter. It has a nice vibe if you are into lots of old drunk creepy men. There was a live band, the music was great and surprisingly the food arrived way quicker than the drinks. Pizzas were tasty with lots of toppings. All in all its an ok place, go with a crowd, don't take your kids and don't be in a rush.

I've never seen pizza with such a generous amount of cheese. Just one slice made me realise how I wasn't gonna finish the whole pizza by myself. And the restaurant is àiry and outdoors. It's beautiful and hidden.Food: 5/5

Absolutely amazing! Whenever we visit our amazing sister, Ursh, all the way from Nellies, we always make sure to pop in for a good few hours! Build your own pizza - amazeballs! Sushi Cocktails Massive kids play area Curios and craft shops And, and, and… Moz runs the jol…BIG SHOUT OUT!

Went for breakfast with family and kids. The kid's play area is spacious with swings, jungle gyms, a seesaw and some stationary ride on toys. There are shaded picnic tables nicely distributed in the area for parents/guardians. They only have 3 breakfast items on the menu. I had the English Breakfast which only comes with 1 slice of bread ; we asked for more forgot to check how much we were charged for that. The breakfast was ok, nothing fancy. We paid approx. R110 per person for breakfast and a couple of cappuccinos, teas and water. Kid-friendliness: Big play area in the back with jungle gyms and swings

We came for brunch while catching up with family. We chose to go with the "build your own pizza" option. Costs R 125 and you have 17 toppings to choose from at no charge. There are additional toppings that come with a small charge, but definitely not badly priced. Your pizza is served in a pizza box which is awesome if you can't finish a whole pizza - takeaway already catered for. Your box is also "personalized" which is a cute touch. I definitely recommend this place. Kid-friendliness: This place is super kid friendly. It looks like the ultimate kiddies venue for parties.

Really nice pub, bar outside type hang-out. They have screens for Rugby or Sport. Place for the children to play and friendly vibe staff serving food and shooters. It is great for family outings or groups of people.Food: 4/5

Wonderful family restaurant! Service was great, pizza was absolutely fantastic, and there is a beautiful separate area to sit relax and allow kids to have fun and play in a safe environment. Highly recommended!!!

This place has a feel like Andiccios where you can pick and choose the pizza and pasta. They have a few quiz nights and it is a buzzing atmosphere as well. The only down side is that the bar has limited shooters available i.e. they don't have fancy shooters although there are shooter ladies coming from table to table.

I can't even remember how many years it's been since i was last at Picolinos in fourways. All I know is that it has been totally revamped since my last visit. It has grown so much from this small pizza spot and kiddies playground. It's got so much more open space. Pizza is still their thing. The menu sadly is very limited unless you take pizzas. So for the picky eater it will be a challenge. They also do quiz nights which I am sure would be awesome. I decided to try their sushi since nothing else really peaked my interest. It wasn't bad, I had the Rock prawn tempura. Service, our waiter wasnt very attentive, we kept looking for him and hence didn't really order drinks. The area is surrounded by a hair dresser, cooking school amongst other businesses so it really has a buzz around it. Give it a try, think we went on a rather slow day. Maybe try the pizzas. We were super disappointed to be received by smoke clouds when we entered the premises to have a pizza. It is absolutely disappointing to be expected to have dinner when everyone around is allowed to smoke. We asked if there was a non smokers area and the waiter pointed us to a section but even there the people smoked. We will not support this restaurant again. Secondhand Smoking is just as bad and to expect non smokers to dine at your restaurant with no regard for us is a shame. You should have an area where kids and families can enjoy their meal without smoke clouds.
