Website mentions new carpet/surface, but when we went today, it was old and horrid, full of major gaps and broken pieces. Someone will get hurt there. Was very disappointed, because I think if it was in the state that the site displays, it can be fun
Absolutely love this place!!! Had my niece's birthday party here and they had a blast! Thank you so much to the incredibly hard working and thoughtful staff that made it such an easy-going and enjoyable experience! The platters were delicious, the party packs were great and the whole day was such a success! Thank you so much!
Had my daughter's birthday at the slope. Was the best birthday party ever. The staff went out of there way to accommodate us. The venue was perfectly set up. Order a cake and I will definitely give the cake a 6/5 rating. Was fenominal. Will recommend the slope to ANYONE looking for the perfect venue.
Staff neglected to provide safety gloves to my daughter or even mention that they were necessary. Manager said they don't give gloves to one times rides though the attendee who sold us the ticket as well as another staff member admitted that it was a mistake that we weren't given the gloves. As a result my 7 year old daughter cut open her hand on the rope while climbing the hill to ride. Despite her not wanting to go due to her pain, the attendees simply had her ride down by herself. The manager Nikki could hardly be bothered and did more accusing than helping. She claimed that we shouldn't have been able to buy the ticket and blamed us for purchasing what was offered to us by the front desk attendant despite it "not being allowed". When we said that we wouldn't want to return if this is the way visitors are treated, she replied by saying that she didn't want us to come back either. Horrible place and horrible service. No accountability! The only positive of the experience was the single staff member who went out of his way to help treat my little one's injuries. To him I say thanks but to the other staff I'm appalled and disgusted.
My Grandkids & Son in law had so much fun. Slope needs a bit of maintenance. But worth every cent
A risk to your child's safety I do not recommend if I could rate 0 stars I would. My child was not given/offered a glove and grabbed the rope after slipping and it cut open her hand. Owner claims gloves aren't given to one time riders. When I informed her I wouldn't be coming back she told me good we don't want you back. Rude rude rude. Do yourself a favor and avoid!
I had my son’s birthday party there a few years ago when it was still Avalanche and it was a very good experience. Saturday, not so much. I have accepted the fact that I wasn’t allowed to give my kids sweets I would have ordered coffee, cool drinks, and food from your menu, no one even bothered to help me put a table together for 5 adults and 4 kids. All you could focus on, is spoiling our day by telling me I must put FOUR lousy sweet packs away, or you will charge me a cover fee and R80 per balloon. which then was confiscated and management refused to give back I cannot afford a party of 10 which is your minimum requirements to book a party table, but still wanted to have it there, not knowing new management treats customers like this. So, if you have 5 or 6 kids, you get worse service than that of someone with 10 or 20 kids? In these troubling times, I would think that you will have at least SOME understanding. There was no kindness or compromise, just impolite tones, attitude and lip. I was fortunate that your neighbouring restaurant accommodated us and our cake and sweets, and I was happy to support them. Well done to them and the management there, decent and kind human beings! This place, not so much... Disappointed, to say the least
I would like to thank Nicky, Dave and the staff for making my daughters party the best ever. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to have the best time ever to go there. My mother of 75 even went down the slope. Thanks again guys
Bad service, the manager was such a rude lady. Because I had a frozen coffee not bought from their bar, she asked me to leave and can’t watch my kids! Very bad experience!
