I am an alumni of the school, grade 9 and 10 in 2011 and 2012 respectively. Now a teacher. At the time, the gangsterism was bad to a point that a police van would be called on Fridays to monitor the situation outside the school premises. But with that said, I had the best years of my schooling years at Masiyile SSS. Ms. Nombembe, Mrs Gqotso and my grade 9 English teacher forgot her surname but at the time she was a deputy principal, played a huge role in the man I have became. Their patience, care and enthusiasm to deliver lessons made me enjoy my early high school days. I will forever be grateful to these teachers.

Terrible school. Terrible principal. The head of the school is the most hostile individual who does not have a great rapport with people. As a school leader, he lacks the ability to be a welcoming human. Its an utter shame that such people hold such high positions. Would never go back there
