Tafelsig Library is one of 6 llibraries situated in the Mitchells Plain area. The library is situated at the corner of Kilimanjaro and Pyrenees streets, Tafelsig. It is a free public library under the jurisdiction of the City of Cape Town.
The mission of Tafelsig Public is to empower the community through access to the services and resources required for the informational, cultural and recreational needs.
Tafelsig Public Library is committed to providing a free public library service to all its citizens in line with the UNESCO Public Library Manifesto. The library aims for excellence in providing a highly professional and cost effective lending reference and community service.
