Mbombela Stadium Nelspruit

Great atmosphere!it was special to watch South Africa beat the All Blacks. The staff were great and helpful. Only thing I would say that they run out of other drinks, so the only thing left to drink was beer.

My experience with Mbombela stadium is that it’s well situated, but the maintenance is not coming okay and it’s slowly dying. It’s a short period since construction but there are things that needs to be updated and fixed but it seems to be slowly. I like that they have offices there running at the same time. The entrance to each gate can be better or renovated or at least cleaned well. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful, I enjoyed coffee over there. I recommend a visit there.

On 6 Aug 2022 the park&ride busses after the Springboks vs All Blacks rugby game was TOTAL CHAOS!! Whatever service provider was responsible should rather close shop and never again get the contract for large events as it was disorganized beyond belief! The bus drivers didn't know which park&ride facilities the busses they were actually going to they said the marshals will tel them and the marshals kept sending people all over to incorrect spota to get onto busses so they also had no clue!, there was zero signage to direct people to where to gather to catch a bus to a specific park&ride facility, and neither did the busses have the destination indicated on its front window signage until it was already overlaoded. The rest was good.

Great place nice all around vibe a bit dirty bathrooms they do sell to underages tho which is a prob and also not very cheap but still fun place for rugby and soccer

#Mbombela stadium. I had always dreamed of photographing this interesting venue. Located in the #township of #Mattafin, the stadium is one of 5 that were built for the 2010 #WorldCup. If you look closely you will see that the stadium has 18 roof supports that resemble #giraffes. That sounds scripted considering that #KrugerNationalPark is close by.

Great facility to watch a sporting event. Just a shame this policy wasn't well thought through. How can you pay for your drinks with a card if there's no signal, or the network is so overloaded you can't process a payment‍

The stadium is really spacious and lovely... the orange colour makes it appealing as you approach and the architecture was spot on with great uniqueness

It was my 1st visit to this stadium and rats it THE BEST ..Atmosphere was electric.
