There is a lady that helped me speed things up.. she called me chommie and she was in a neat navy blue formal outfit.. smiling and very friendly.. thank you McDonald's in Alberton Drive-Thru.. it was also my first time trying the McFlurry Passion Fruit Cheese Cake and it was fantastic thanks..Food: 5/5
Pathetic service the lady on the drive thru mic tells you hold on then there is no response for minutes then she speaks thereafter silence again. I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese that's on a advertisement board directly in front of me she tells me we dont do that anymore I can order a normal quarter pounder and add a pattie for R20 more taking the price to more then the double quarter pounder lol what a RIP off will never visit this establishment again. I ended up ordering the cajun burger meal and ended up with a dry cardboard tasting burger. Terrible service terrible food.
Nice atmosphere. We there for the 1st time but it was nice. Not so sure about the play area. Its not the friendliest but food and atmosphere were goodFood: 4/5
One of the worse McDonald’s I’ve been to. They’re always offline between 7-8am. Imagine how much money they lose during peak hour. While ordering at the drive in, we always have to go park for 15 minutes and wait for our food in the parking lot. What’s the purpose of a fast food chain drive in? They give McDonald’s a bad reputation

Unbelievable. I literally heard the Manager tell her staff member that she's not going to attend to my request to speak to her. Mind you I wasn't even going to complain. The Manager, Nodumo across the floor, said in isiZulu "angihlangani nalelo customer" menaing: I'm not interested. After telling the assistant at the window that I'm disappointed and I'd take this further, she responded "that's fine, let him take it up"... Mind you the drive through wasn't busy. She wasn't even aware why I needed to speak to her. McDonald's, are this the type of talent that represent your brand? I'm disgusted!
Waited in the drive-thru for quite a while and then when we got to the window to collect, our drinks were not ready and we had to wait longer around the corner. Latte Frappes were watery and not icy like they should be. Chips were dry and old. Not the usual we receive so disappointed
Almost 30mins waiting for my order, because I was upset and in a hurry i didn't check it, when I get home I found out that I was given a wrong order. No paper towels, no tomato sauce only a straw and a wrong order.Food: 1/5
The music playing at the restaurant over powers the conversations we were having and when the matter was reported however little was done to resolve it. Instead different staff members then came out to see who made the complaint instead of solving it Vegetarian options: I've been having the veggie burger for years and no variations are added to the patty, you can't upside it or anything it just remains. That's so limiting
PATHETIC SERVICE, AFTER WAITING OVER 30 MINUTES AND STILL NOT GETTING MY ORDER IN THE BRANCH I DEMANDED MY MONEY BACK. EVEN THEN IT STILL TOOK OVER 10 MIN. NEVER AGAIN MCDONALDS Alberon. Not even an apology for service or please can we give your order. Just ok was the response. PATHETIC does not even accurately describe the service.
