Most patient, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and best eye doctor one could ever choose. I almost lost my sight due to negligence of treatment when I was diagnosed with conjunctivitis in both eyes. It was Dr Rush and Prof Carmichael that saved my sight. I live in Cape Town and still fly to joburg to be treated by him.

A delightful and caring ophthalmologist. A superb diagnostician whose competence is only matched by his modesty and friendliness. He and his partner Dr Peter van Lingen saved my eyesight with brilliant surgery when I developed a macular hole. My eyesight is now absolutely perfect!

Dr Rush has been my eye saviour!  Without his dedication, compassion and skill over the past 24 years I would not be where I am today.  Thank you!!
