Not even worth a star, had millions of excuses why the software does not work on my Samsung S22, been waiting months. Easy to sell software but making sure it works. Had to buy a second phone, not willing to reimburse for there software being months now incompatible. Best is they are losing so much clients pushing them to the opposition instead of getting the development team to make it compatible. Why did they not have the beta versions to make software compatible prior to release.
Still having problems with the software and still no solution. My sons sensor which we have spent a small fortune on is useless. No alerts as it keeps tripping out of the system. The support is almost non existent. This company does not care about patients. I would suggest you find another service provider before purchasing anything from them.
The soft ware programe that supports the sensors that are monitoring and alerting patients of going hypo or hyper has not worked since last week. When asking the support staff they have no idea when this will work again. The communication has been extremely poor with one email last week but no information since. I am extemenly concerned as this should be protecting our loved ones from a hypo. Without knowing how or when it will be solved is not the way a proffessional company that is supposed to care for its patients should be acting. I am appalled!
Our journey with Medtronics started off great. I can honestly say the pump and sensor has changed my wife's life and inturn my own, that is where the good news stops though! After spending all this money on a system that really works I was very surprised to learn that when something goes wrong....you are on your own. Extremely bad after sales service, a call centre where you are on hold for over an hour and still do not get helped this is on numerous occasions this is ment to be an emergency call centre remember. When you do get throu I only ever got to speak to someone once you get big promises and then nothing. Sending emails worked a bit better but still pathetic service. Example. You can tell them you work till 6pm and they need to call before 6pm to help you or after hours because we just cant get hold of anyone when we callin our case it is a faulty transmitter...which is part of your safety blanket and essential to the working of pump My wife received a call 5:55pm at work and then received a email saying they tried to call and could not reach her....even though her boss answered the call at work and told call centre agent that he can call my wife but he said no he will call back, he never did. Really I don't know if it's a staff issue or a just don't care issue, whatever it is you need to sort it out and fast. This is pathetic we not talking about a faulty TV here its a medical device that is life and death.
Same experience as other reviewers, they don't answer their phones, it rings 3 times then cuts off. They've lost me as a customer.
WARNING TO ANY FUTURE CUSTOMERS: After months of deliberation with my Medtronic Diabetes South Africa Sales Rep Erika Kotze, I was pleased to receive my more than R58k at the time, "apparently" top of the line Medtronic Diabetes 780G insulin pump today, only to discover they don't come with a Serter or Quick-Serter in the box. For any potential new customers that don't know what that is, the Serter is a tiny device that shoots the consumable infusion sets into your skin. That arguably makes it one of the most integral parts of a CGM system, as that is what literally helps physically connect it to your body. Not getting one with a brand new insulin pump purchase, would be akin to buying a brand new modern car and not getting wheels with it. If you can't connect it to your body, it's useless. Now... part of me can get that. Medtronic is a company, so they will try nickel and dime customers any way they can. Their Sales Reps though, should know better. Case and point, when pointing this out to mine again, Erika Kotze, I was essentially told that it's my fault and I should now spend even more money to get one. This despite making customers new or old aware of everything required for using these systems, checking what they need, and adding it to any potential quotes... being her/their job. That's the kinda service you can expect from Medtronic Diabetes South Africa, so be warned.
Never answers their phones or email. Super bad service. Hope Corporate America fires the lot of them
As a client, Medtronic does not give any service. If you log a complaint they make empty promises. No one is willing to be of service if you have an enquiry. They don't even deserve 1 star.
It is great place to work at and the people are helpful and friendly.
