We went to die Melkkan for lunch on Saturday and man oh man was it an experience to remember In order of appearance here’s the food that showed up on our table: - Eisenbein pork shank - Mayo kiep kiep chicken mayo - Farm burger - Chicken pie And we finished it all off by sharing their Freak Waffle Not featured here are their Melkkos Jaffles.. which is serious one of the yummiest things we’ve ever tried Restaurant RATING: Food: 4/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Environment: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Aesthetic: 4/5 So we’d give the place a total of: Listen, this place is DEFINITELY WORTH THE VISIT. It’s an experience you won’t find easily elsewhere, especially outside of South Africa. We would have just liked the bathrooms to be more comfortable and have some lighting and hand towels, as well as had the staff check in on us during our stay. This is a small business, so we understand that things aren’t always managed the same way as in the cities where it’s a lot busier and a lot more demanding.

Good morning, l was there on Monday 26th Dec 2022 with my family. I liked the rustic look, but to get there was a nightmare. The gravel road is not for small cars. The food was not good my, and the prices are very high. I also don't think a cappuccino should be a hug in a mug. I had no problem with making it myself, but please try to get a proper cappuccino machine. Also service and cleanest not up to Restaurant standard,whether you are inside or outside. Please try to improve on certain things.

The place was dirty and honestly quite gross. My beverage top had been rusted. Kids ages 9 to 11 were working there. The were food left on the chairs and the windows look like they haven't been washed in years. Would not recommend!

A jewel in the flat lands. Friendly dogs, bantams, and people too. Many interesting sights and sayings. Fun afternoon. Kid-friendliness: Large play area, with many diverse activities/rides.

Best time I had in a very long time. Great service friendly staff. Loads to do for the kids.....

Melkkan is very refreshing, to get out of town into nature and experience something fresh and new in art and all the love what surrounding this place, you feel safe and secure, the food and the way they served it is also very nice and beautiful, you can have fun with the different booths etc for photography. Friendly host.
