The best hardware shop in Durban North. Friendly and helpful staff and the most generous owner who does so much for the community. Recently bought paint to paint our house here and the paint guys were incredibly patient and knowledgeable. Will not go anywhere else
I done a purchase on the 3rd of June 2023 and they couldn't deliver on time on the 4th I went back for a refund ,the cashier and a man name Raj said it had to be refunded onto the card so I agreed as I am aware of many companies with this policy ,it is now the 12th of June 2023 and I still don't have my money in my account..their managers are of no use..we are a week behind on work ...I would certainly not be returning to that store again
Just had an awesome shopping experience here. Nomusa was ever so friendly and knowledgeable - she helped me get everything I needed - and then rushed back to make me my cappuccino to go! Very jacked up hardware store, I highly recommend it.

This is hands down the best “hardware and more store” in the whole of Durban and surrounds! During my house renovation, I spent a lot of time shopping around and frustrated by the lack of knowledge and help in many well-known stores. I was overjoyed once I discovered Mica Durban North and got to know their extremely helpful, knowledgeable staff over a period of months - and the best priced products - every time - no matter what you buy: paint, edging, etc etc. And what they don’t have, they will find and order for you. Plus they have a knack for pre-empting future orders here’s looking at you, Nash, the way you always knew I would need more edging . This is a proudly South African group of stores, that make you feel proud to be South African. Thank you Andre, Nash, CJ, Bheki, Senzo, and everyone who always go out of their way to assist. But wait there’s more! They also make the best coffees too! Yup, they have an in-house barista who makes bean to cup coffees, cappuccinos, iced coffees and more. At prices that make you feel like you are back in the 90’s . Now that my renovation is coming to an end, I still find reasons to swing past there for a coffee, as there is not a single “fancy” coffee shop that can beat their coffees.
Short on parking. Queues. Short staffed or no floor assistance. Prices are high comparatively. Large range so convenient

Very helpful and friendly. The isles are a bit close together, but they do have wide range of products.
Sbu who cut my padlock keys was awesome, everywhere I went, I was told no they couldn't do it or maybe could. Sbu got it right straight away & I was impressed
