Now you will find some good value at bargain markdown prices at Builders. Just look out for the discounted tables on the alise. You can find just about any diy or hardware that you require at Builders. Pitty I could not find anthracite coal here but available on their website. The store is neat with wheelchair access, plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff if you can find them. I find that this branch located in Umhlanga Ridge at bit run down of late and not how it use to be. Especially the garden Centre. I was in yesterday and it looked to run down, no seedling in stock, things scattered about that you could not navigate your trolley. I personally think that management should do more walk about at this store.
First time going to this Hardware I was blown away by the customer service I received from a Gentleman who took me through from the entrance to the till point which made things easy for me and not forgetting it was during Black Friday rush. The setup in the place is clear and easily accessible. It's a wheelchair accessible place from the parking to products sold and to till points. There are no toilets inside the hardware but since the hardware is located inside Crescent Mall, toilets can be found in the mall.
This was the 2 or 3 time I when there to test my pool water and had to wait over 20mins. Not the 1st time. 1st they had to find someone to help, than he asked some else to do the test and they could not, they call the 1st person back, only to find out that the tester was not working. Than he had to go find the manager to get approval to use manual tester. Surely they should have check the test when they open.
9 out of 10 times I cannot find what I am look for. Staff are also not well trained or helpful. Rather go to Builders Warehouse Rivershore. Much bigger and more variety + helpful staff.
Has everything you need. But to get someone to serve is difficult. Asked the oldish man at info, he seemed like management, but he fobbed me off to Nikesh who was already serving 3 customers. When I told the older man he said i must just barge in and ask Nikesh...old man just wasn't interested. 13 customers in the queue but two cashiers only.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Queues moved quickly and the store was accessible to people with mobility issues.
This builders is so disorganized. The staff are nowhere to be found, heck the lady that was signing people up for membership cards was the most helpful and everybody came to her. They have a call button in the aisles which I pressed repeatedly without anybody coming. I had been to CTM an hour before and it's like day and night, customer service is lacking at builders. There are no price tags on most items and nobody to help so you have to lug all the items you need to the front, wait and ask around until a cashier can help. The range is limited I mean there are only 4 toilet suites to choose from. The two stars is for the paint department only because they immediately asked if we needed help. They need to do something about the the rest of the store, its ridiculous.
Cool store but to find someone to help is impossible, I left without buying anything - went to Mica instead. To the owners of this builders, walk into a Mica and see the service, copy it. Go read Mica Durban Norths reviews - they are raving.
There's not much they don't stock. Staff are generally helpful. Cashiers seem to be in a short staff situation often. Female Manager is rude and shows no respect for her Customers. Suggest H.O. take note.
Clean. Well placed. Staff always willing to take you to the isle of whatever you're looking for. Perfect the nursery will legit revive your soul
