Unnic Auto Parts Randburg (Pty) Ltd had a humble beginning in 2002 as an independent automotive car parts and accessories retail store. Trading out of a 120 square meter store, employing 5 staff members in total and situated on the corner of Oxford and West Road, Ferndale, Randburg. Dirk Franck with 2 other investors, provided the initial start-up capital to fund the project. Thanks to the help of Mr Jimmy Demos, current Sales Director and Partner, rapid growth took place over the next couple of years. Unnic soon got noticed by the then chairman of Napa, a division of Midas and was converted to an independently owned Midas retail outlet in 2006.
Growth further accelerated and Dirk and Jimmy managed to buy out the original investors. Dirk Franck currently has the controlling share in Unnic Auto Parts (Pty)Ltd and holds the position of Managing Director. Midas Unnic currently employs over 30 staff members and boats with the biggest fleet of delivery vehicles. We ensure a high standard of service is maintained to all the OEM workshops, aftermarket workshops and fitment centres.
Late in 2014 Midas Unnic managed to secure and purchase an 1800 square meter property located on 300 Republic Road, corner of Malibongwe & Republic Road Strijdom Park, Randburg, with ample secured parking for our valued customers. Midas Unnic also has a fully equipped Willard battery bay connected to the store.We are one of the prominent role players in the greater Randburg area, due to our good value offerings, excellent service and the ability to source parts at a competitive price.
