Based in Claremont Cape Town, I bake custom cakes and cupcakes from my home kitchen. I am passionate about baking with only quality fresh ingredients such as Nomu 70% organic cocoa, Belgium chocolate, Nomu vanilla, Usana free range farm eggs and quality butter. I also strive to bake cakes that are not too sweet and celebrate natural flavours. I do not work with fondant but prefer the silky swiss meringue buttercream as my main frosting of choice, it has a light velvety texture and not too sweet creamy flavour. It is made with cooked meringue, farm butter and vanilla extract. It holds a beautiful shape. I also love working with creamcheese in my fillings and frostings. I decorate my cakes with swirls, sweets, chocolate, fresh flowers, meringues and custom made cake toppers. If you would like a fondant topper I have a trusted supplier I work with.

I have always felt cakes symbolise happy celebrations and good memories and I feel blessed to be able to add to someones special occasion with my cakes. I started baking as a hobby in 2013 when I decided I had to learn to make the perfect the cupcake and it just evolved from there. I have been blessed to attend workshops from well known and incredible cakery Sweet Lionheart and Crumb Cakes. Over time my hobby became something more and today I offer custom cakes and cupcakes to cater for any small to medium sized occasion.
