Midrand Police Station

I am from Durban ne so I went to Midrand SAPS twice since I moved to Gauteng oh wow this Police station bayasebenza abantu bakhona you can see its very busy but they make sure they attended everyone ngokushesha and I visited many Police stations but my first time finding people who are enjoying their work like this

A crime was occurring outside my window and the police dispatcher started arguing with me over the phone after stating that last time the police never showed up. Its been over an hour and the police have not arrived. What horrible governmental service, who can I call to protect me if not the police? Disgraceful.

I was in an accident tonight. I called this office asking them to dispatch a police officer to my location which was Allendale Off ramp. The lady who answered the phone at exactly 8:19 this evening told me that she could not dispatch an officer. She then said the drunk driver who crashed me should follow me in his vehicle to the police station otherwise she couldn't be of any assistance. I said the driver cant drive due to being drunk... She then told me directly that i should put the phone down and phone metro police even though the office closed. How is this any help to the citizens of midrand ?..

Terrible service absolutely useless, I called them to inform them that a group of Men were beating up a Woman trying to force her into a car, at the McDonald's parking lot, near Boulders Mall. The operator sounded so uninterested and annoyed by my Call. She said she'd send a Car, nothing came. They eventually managed to get her in the car.. I called the Midrand Police to tell them that the Men had left with the Girl, they didn't bother answering my Call.

I wouldn't even recommend this police station better go somewhere else, bad service bad everything, such s racist police station never GO mark my words......!!!!!!!

Wow wow wow...I got the best service ever, no hustle at all. Went to do an Accident Report, the officer forgot Surname assisted me step by step until done. It was so quick didnt for a moment I forgot I was at a police station. Keep up the service and possibly improve where others feel you are lacking!

I have reported excessive party music noise @ 22:20 to the Midrand Police station. The Constable said they would send someone out. Icalled again 40 min later, and I was told they are busy somewhere else but will respond. 23:30 the help arrives under completely under equipped to deal with the noise disturbance. The vechile has no blue lights, siren, or loud speakers. So effectively they cant be useful.They hoot a few times for 10 min and then drive away leaving the blaring music. I call the constable to find out what kind of service this is. I'm informed the vehicle is has no lights siren or loud speaker. So this means it was known that the wrong vehicle was being sent. The constable says she will call them to go back. It's now 00:40 Sunday morning, and still no one has returned. There should be a complaints number that is open 24/7 with a person to deal desisively with this failed service delivery and poor communications. No one has called back to assess if the drama has been solved. Totally unsatisfactory effort and virtually no service provided as the music is still blaring Will write a letter to the Midrand reporter about this. Why does the station have 2.4 star rating on google. It seems this rating tells a person what to expect if help is what your after. Very unimpressed Midrand resident.

I was blown away by how friendly and efficient the officers were despite having to assist with something as menial as an affidavit. My expectations were admittedly low, but it was really refreshing to be assisted by friendly and compassionate staff. They could perhaps arrange for clearer signs where to park.

Really bad service at the front desk. Between three women who were supposed to assist me, they continued talking while I waited nearly 5 minutes for them to address me, after which they asked me what I wanted. After explaining the break in on my car in detail, I was asked to repeat another 3 times. No fingerprints were taking and they did not even want to inspect my damaged car with clear evidence of the break in. It feels as if they're doing me a favour by wanting to talk to me at all, as in between formally writing down my statement the person assisting kept replying to her WhatsApp messages. Thanks.

I reported a house break in, upon arrival the officers did not introduce themselves, they walked right in to the break in entry point. No photographs or finger prints were taken even though a hand mark and boot prints were clearly evident. They proceeded to just sit themselves at the dinning room table and write a statement without saying or asking anything except my personal details etc. The officers did not seem interested at all with what we had to say or the evidence in front of them. I was not informed of any requirements going forward. The case was processed and the case number sent to me the following day. Fingerprints were taken but approx. 36 hours after the break in. Investigating detective contacted me and was helpful and tried to find out all the details.
