Midrand Public Library

Conveniently placed Library at the Midrand business park , just any form of ID will let you in at the gate. The library is spacious and has various seating areas, however if you want to go and study I suggest you use the study hall. The staff can get noisy yet they are friendly and when I complained they took it down a notch and I moved into the study hall. There is 300mb WiFi to use, dictionaries thesaurus and the works that are for use, toilet in reasonably good condition. If you looking for a space to study in harmony this will do.

Not state of of the art but one can get reading/research/work done, plus there is free City of Joburg wifi 300mb if you need to use your laptop. The place is a bit small so one needs to come early during those exam periods, otherwise you wont have space to sit.

I haven't even been to the library yet, I'm just so grateful that we have 1..kids these days do not read which, by my standards, is imperative to spelling and grammar.. I'm getting cards for my son's. I appreciate you HH Library

Love it . The library is the best . Loads of book and very quite. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff is amazing! As I walked in,one asked that I was new and quickly assisted me and showed me the different study areas. The study area is small, so definitely advise pple to come early. There are printing and photocopying services as well.

Great quiet library, staff is very polite and helpful with anything we may need from charging laptops to finding books that we may need. The toilets are super clean too!!

It would be nice to have staff respect that people come to the library looking for a quiet place. They were chitty chatty, laughing and all.

Decent library facility. More books would be a 4 star rating, uncapped WiFi would be 5 stars ;-D

Hi Halfway House Public Library. Today's date is 24 October 2020. I went to the library to get books and found it closed. This is not acceptable and as a taxpayer paying your salaries, I assume you are still receiving a full salary and on Level 1 you should be open.
