Millers Point Caravan Park

WORST SERVICE EVER Actually, no service at all. Tried making a reservation for 3 days after which we decided to drive through anyway and if we could not book, we would just get an Airbnb. We went to the municipal offices where no-one could help us. They sent us to Zandvlei Caravan park for assistance. They then sent us to the Civic centre where the bookings office is. Got there and was told you have to book for 2 night minimum. Wanted to book two nights but they didnt have any space for the second night. So we couldnt make a booking. I was then told to make a bookinf at Fish Hoek caravan park. Utterly useless service!!!!!! And dont even bother calling, they put their phones on silent.

Let me start. By saying the view at millers point is unsurpassed. The sea is an azure blue reminiscent of the Adriatic. The campsite however is a little dilapidated. The ablutions are olfactory most missing taps. No dustbins. One water point at the ablutions. The power points are open to the elements. Very sad for such a superb site

Beautiful location. Booking is a mission. Gets quite windy. Hopefully you don't have neighbors that play loud music.

My camping experience was truly awesome. I loved the camp sites, toilets was clean, hot an cold showers awesome experience. Jus very windy. But overall pleasant time

Love this place! Gorgeous views, fantastic beach - spotless ablution blocks. Will definately return!

awesome view and a nice campspot - so far the best campspot south of cape town. the toilets are really run down. the booking procedure is quite complicated! as we arrived they told us the campground is fully booked, after some minutes of smalltalk and a phone call they offered us a campspot for two nights. some guys we met there had to leave after one night, because the campground is "fully booked" - at this night only 4 of total 16 spots were taken! payment can't be done there, so we had to drive to a post office to pay the campground.

Nice and peaceful. Camp sites are well maintained. Very poor lighting around the camp sites. No braai spots at each plot, its communal and there are not many. Toilets are very old but nice and clean and staff friendly. Booking was a real nightmare. Can get very windy at times. Overall good experience.

I don't know how this place gets any positive reviews, as it is near impossible to get in the gate. No phones at muizenberg civic is attended and there is no way in hell you will get in and be allowed to sort it out when the office is actually open. This was realy disappointing as it appeared to be located very well. Privately run camp sites only for us from now on. We are now checked in to a rather dodgy looking place, but at least they wanted our business.

The booking by Dumisani was well handled. The toilets were clean. The park officials were polite and helpful. The baboon minders were wonderful. The view and the proximity to the sea was fantastic. All in all all a wonderful weekend. Thank you.

ABSOLUTELY WORST BOOKING SERVICE EVER. It took about two days just to get someone to answer the phones. I got redirected between 3 people of which nobody could help! I stated In the beginning I was wanting to book for 1 night only! Once someone finally answered the phone, half way through the booking process was I then told “ 0oh no sorry, you can’t book for 1 night only “ why waste my time and not tell me this in the beginning? Also whatever female is answering one of the booking numbers CHANGE YOUR TONE OF VOICE. I don’t want to feel like I’m being reprimanded just by asking to book my lady! Definitely such bad service!
