Texas Steaks

My wife and I had the most unpleasant experience at Texas Spur N1 City. I made peace with the fact that it's a Monday and its "Burger Promo" night. But my our steaks came to the table cold. My Wifes steak had to be sent back as it was not made to her preference. When the manager came to bring her steak back, it was just put down on the table, and the manager just walked away. No apology! The waiter Werner was good up until he broke our Spur Loyalty card without notifying us. And when we asked him about it. He just brushed it off by saying we should apply for a new card. And once again, no apology!!! This was by far the worst experience ever encountered at this Spur. And it will be my last time they see me. Terrible! If I could Give 0 stars for Service I would!

I went a week back for breakfast. My friend had the breakfast special and ordered a side of onion rings. Which enjoyed quite considerably. The eggs were done nicely and the bacon. I chose a healthier option and got avocado on toast. The toast was a bit too soft and but underwhelming. It hunk a better bread could be used and the presentation could have been better. The service was good and the food came out quickly which was great

This Spur ranch is worthy of my 5 stars and time writing this review. You will not go wrong visiting Texus Spur Steak Ranch N1. Being greeted by all the waiters at the door was so welcoming. They took special care to look after my 2 boys with breakfast and friendly staff in the play area. What pleases me is the size of this branch. And I wasn't ushered into a cramped up space. My waiter looked for a suitable spot close to the warm kitchen and play area. The condiments were all straight, filled and clean...and full of our favorite Spur sauce. He took our order and despite being busy, the breakfast was warm and ready in under 7minutes. We had a visit from the manager as well who got us wipes on a plate... on a plate... I've had mine hand delivered by other so called 5star establishments so... Half way through the waiter checked up on us which I appreciated. When the boys meals were done, the table looked like I had more that 10 seated and a second manager chuckled and called it a creative statement. I for one, will definitely be back. You made us feel at home. Kid-friendliness: My kids went crazy here. Any place that can handle my kids and make them feel this at home gets my vote.

Everything amazing except one very important thing. Food was wonderful. Management even made an effort to get me a table close to the play area as my son has hearing aids and I need to be close by. Wow!! Thank you for that! Only down fall was when load shedding started they play area was pitch black and remained that way. No LED lights around to just light up the area? An important thing to consider since kids are playing around. Otherwise all amazing!

Terrible experience. Food had to be returned thrice becuase it was cold and underdone. Asked our waitress for assistance and she sent us to the manager who then sent us back to the waitress . Even the payment of the bill was an issue, they couldn't even get that right!!!Food: 1/5

Took my parents out for breakfast. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Everything was good. Decided to get half waffle as well.

Family of 4 coming to spur, everyone orders main meals and I decided to get chicken livers. Order comes and it's soaked in oil. I asked to replace it and the manager Suzette comes back saying the livers are frozen i must order something else. Pathetic service!!! Pathetic kitchen management! Your waiter Simba atleast had the decency to offer a free drink which I kindly rejected.

The food was good. Waited a while even though it was empty. The waiter did not bother to come and check or let us know what the hold up is. We waited about 20 minutes for both our dishes. At the time, the facility was empty.Food: 4/5

terrible service. Wife's cappacino was ice cold. Waiter had to be reminded of my coffee. Then the coffee that was brought tasted horrible and burnt. The chips were oily and tasted off. As if the oil in the kitchen was old. Bacon was rubbery. Toast was soft and soggy. Not what Im used to when I visit Spur. Waiting time was extremely long for our badly prepared orders. Ended up chasing the waiter around myself to get some service
