For all your out door rock climbing and adventure needs, check these guys out. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have some second hand gear upstairs which are in good condition and are worth checking out. On street parking is a bit of a problem as is with all places within the cbd. It may be wise to park in loop St and walk around the corner.

I've bought some climbing shoes online and as it is one pair didn't fit as sizes so vary so much between models/brands. Now it was the matter to find a suitable shoe and as we live 500km away we could not pop in and try them on. The very knowledgeable and super friendly staff didn't spare any effort and within no time we found a suitable shoe. A few days later the exchange was sorted and we even got a discounted shipment. After doing a gym2crag course with Vertigo Adventures same company we then purchased some kit for our onward travels. Although small the shop had plenty of choice and all the essentials. The staff were all very approachable and happy to offer tips on the best climbing spots in Cape Town and around the rest of SA too. An excellent shop!

Made an on online purchase for delivery: unbeknownst to me, I had ordered two items that would not work well together. Prior to delivery which was on the next working day - very quick, I was phoned by the shop staff to ensure I had meant to use these two items together and suggested a different combination that would fit their purpose better still the same brands and costs so not trying to upsell. It is quite something to have helpful/knowledgeable staff when shopping in store - this is the first time I have experience the benefit of knowledgeable staff whiles online shopping! Thank you

I have baught most of my climbing gear through Vertigo gear both online and in store. Though I haven't been to their new premises yet, at the previous shop the in house staff were very knowledgeable and profesional. I've recently baught a pair of tenaya approach shoes, they arrived a day later, the online customer service was excellent. I could not be happier.
