Mitsubishi Hatfield

Service department is an absolute scam. Scheduled an appointment a week in advance just to change oil and windshield wipers. On the day of drop off, they said it would be ready at noon, showed up and it wasn't ready. They said 1:00 so we came back at 3:00 and it wasn't ready. We said we'd come after work at 5:30, they called at 5:15 and said they were closing...so we had to use three Ubers to get our car. The didn't have windshield wipers in stock, and tried repeatedly to charge us to service the aircon, which we didn't need. Finally, the bill was 6,300 rand just to change the oil. Absolute robbery.

Friendly staff and easy to get your appointment. Knowledgeable staff. Mitsubishi, Honda and Subaru remain brilliant. Understated quality machines. They actually washed my car after the service without charging. Not even BMW dealers do that anymore. That was but one of the small things that will make me going there since time immemorial. I had to take away one star because they did not give the parts they replaced to me. I like having a look at those things, like the old fluids and filters. They used to keep it but now you probably have to ask. Definitely a top rated business.

Very bad service , we have called more than 4 times and sent an email for a service book on a colt bakkie. Every time the rep says he will phone us back but they never do.

Lots of room for improvement. Much needed education on telephone etiquettes, keeping the client informed timeously , etc.

Terrible repairs. I had a starting problem on my Pajero, had to take it in twice while they had the car for 6 days, problem still existed. I took the car on holiday and checked it in at the Mitsubishi garage in PE, they immediately picked up the problem, replaced the faulty part and problem is fixed. Never again CMH Hatfield.
