Modimolle Department of Traffic

This must be without a doubt the most pathetic office in the Modimolle Mookpophong Local Municipality, hands down, so congratulations! There are only two Licencing offices in the Municipally to write your learners and Drivers Licence, the Mookpophong office burnt down and will not be taking booking for tests in the near future. The Modimolle office is always offline, either their computers/systems or their phones. You will never be greeted by a Municipal worker at the door...no the Security guard on duty has taken the liberty on him/her self to tell you exactly how everything works, so don't expect to speak to someone in the office, every, not physically or over phones. Bookings can however be made between Tue - Thu and the office is open from 07h45, try get there early but dot waste your time trying to call them.

Well, it is pathetic - no wonder South Africa is a joke to the rest of the world and our country is falling apart. When finding out when you may renew your license.... You are informed to be here at 7am,just to wait four4 hours outside in the sun. Without a restroom and the elderly people also have to stand in the sun. No social distancing is applied, no one enforcing Covid_19 rules. Once you enter the actual facilities you sit and wait another hour and a half to be assisted, at least here you are on a chair in the shade. They are extremely outdated, you have to do your eye test at a doctor and bring photographs. They are rude and unprofessional and the ''system'' they have in place is unsuccessful and a waste of time. If you want to renew your license, make sure you take the day off. South African government's infrastructure is an absolute joke!

there is no worse place on earth then this place, the people are the laziest and refuse to work past lunch time.You will want to hang your self after going there
