I had a wonderful experience at Molteno Road Dental Practice. Dr de Jager helped me and was so gentle and considerate! She managed to do quite a lot of work in only two sessions. I didn't even realise when the local wore off, as there was literally no pain! She also allowed me to listen to a podcast during the appointment which really helped distract me from everything. They were super accommodating I changed both appointments - one on account of being sick, and another because of meetings, and were just lovely to deal with! I would highly recommend!
Dr Strydom is a fantastic dentist. I am incredibly scared of needles and dentists but he and all the staff there immediately made me feel comfortable. I also explained my fear of needles before my procedure and unlike so many other Drs, Dr Strydom did not dismiss my concerns. He was so gentle, I felt nothing, not the local not the procedure and even afterwards my teeth did not hurt. I am very impressed with the standard of care and quality of work I received there.
My experience with this Dental practice over some 16 years has always been excellent. Most recently I have had some dental work done by Dr de Jager. She is superb, very gentle, reassuring and meticulous. The Admin of this practice, under Najiema is equally slick, well managed and always extremely helpful and efficient. I highly recommend this Dental practice.
On the web site they say that are open until 17.00…NOT TRUTH I CALLED and called from 16.00 to 16.30, then I went there personally and nobody answered Un professional and useless
I would give Dr Strydom more stars if it were possible. I used to be petrified of dentists and my teeth suffered accordingly, however, after seeing Dr Strydom, I don't have any fear *whatsoever*. Dr Strydom is on time, kind, compassionate and, more importantly, the work that he does is phenomenal. He is a perfectionist and will not settle for anything less on your teeth, always doing whatever he can to make improvements for you whether you ask for it or not. I am grateful for everything he has done for me over the few years I have seen him and major work he has done on my teeth I firmly believe Dr Strydom is one of the best / if not the best healthcare professional I have ever been to and I wish more out there were like him...
Dr De Jager and her team was excellent!! I had to get a crown for my tooth that broke off, and they made the procedure over two sessions so easy and comfortable. I will highly recommend her!
An exceptional ‘Vacation Dentistry’ experience! I live in the USA but decided to have my dental work done in South Africa due to the lower costs. I found this dental practice on the internet and so I was a little concerned, but I need not have worried. Dr Strydom recommended a more conservative approach than my dentist at home, which I was delighted about. He was very informative, highly professional, and he listened to me. As he has all the equipment for making on-lays and crowns in his office all my dental work was completed in a single, long visit. At a second visit he took impressions and had a new set of retainers made for me, which are more comfortable and fit better than my old ones. The hygienist is also professional and thorough although she only works there two days per week. The costs were exactly the same as the quotations that he sent me before the consultation. I can really recommend this dental practice for modern and high quality dental care.
I've been seeing Dr Strydom for a few years now and am always impressed by the level of care, quality of work and concern for my comfort. I am one of those unhappy patients who genuinely dreads going to the dentist, but I've never had any pain during a procedure with Dr Strydom and he always does his best to put me at ease. I also appreciate that he explains procedures in full detail and that there is far more aftercare than I've ever experienced with a dental practice in the past. Highly recommended.
I waited with this review just to see how white my teeth would be after several months. I got my teeth whitened in November 2021. I chose to have it done at Molteno Road and got a homekit with to bleach them further at home. The oral hygiënist that bleached my teeth was very knowledgeable and patient and she talked me through each step of the process. The first night my teeth did hurt a bit I was warned about this but that went away quite quickly. The result is really good. My teeth are still white and they look naturally white I was worried I might end up with a glow-in-the-dark-smile
I would highly recommend Molteno Dental Practice in Cape Town. Dr Jean Strydom makes you feel extremely comfortable. He is very informative and professional yet very kind and gentle and makes you feel safe and the overall experience is exceptional. I also felt that he is very thorough and it made me feel safe and I would recommend Dr Strydom for all your future dental needs.
