I had my BMW GS800 bike tyres changed here. Quick service with friendly staff and no job is to small for them to help you. Today I had my cars towbar fitted with a drop plate - I was helped within 10 minutes, everything done... Well done Pietie and your team!!

These guys are great at selling batteries. They're friendly and helpful. When my car broke down four km's outside of Montagu a good Samaritan towed me to them. They quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty battery, sold me a new one and on we go. Problem solved right? No, Just outside Paarl the engine dies on me again and once again I had to be towed. My mechanic quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty alternator. If Supa Quick had taken the 10 seconds to check the alternator then this whole thing would have been avoided. I had to unnecessarily pay for a new battery and get a tow back home. So much money down the drain because they couldn't do a simple check. Here is a Life pro tip that my neighbour gave me. Should someone convince you to buy a new battery, start the car and disconnect the new battery. If the engine dies then the old battery wasn't the problem. On the plus side according to the auto-electrician that fixed my alternator their price on the battery was very good, albeit completely unnecessary. I phoned them to try and understand what happened and they said they did check the alternator. Obviously they did not so they're either dishonest or incompetent. Either way I recommend not doing business with them. ---------------------------------- Edit exactly a week later. It looks like they wanted a good looking response to my review when they said "We’ll do our best to make it up to you." If it's not there anymore then they probably edited their response. It's a thing. Obviously. I contacted them as they requested. The number they gave is the head office switchboard number so it was a bit of a mission to reach someone who knew what I was talking about. I left my number and a very kind lady phoned me back and promised to investigate. That was a week ago. I'm not holding my breath. I've also put some more thought into it and I realise that this still happened. Making it right would involve getting rid of people that are dishonest or incompetent. Refunding my money won't make it right. It will simply continue happening to someone else. Just try and make it to another town if you break down here. They will sell you a battery. They're good at selling batteries. -------------------------------------------- Edit again some days later. As I suspected they've amended their post. Now they're basically apologising and gave me a number to dial to receive a "gift". I'm not interested in any gifts so I won't be taking them up on their offer. I would like to point out that this is probably only isolated to the Montagu branch so I still suggest avoiding them. The head office seems like they're trying to save face. So I suggest avoiding only the Montagu branch.
