Monty's Liquor Boutique

This store is small in size but rich in offering. Their staff are knowledgeable about their wines, so I always walk out with a new bottle to try. I have never been disappointed.

Yesterday after work, quickly had to pop in at the Woolworths at Parktown Quarters store to buy a few things. At the till one of the guys that work in the parking area, was helping me to unpack my trolley...so helpful. Visited the Montys Liquor store to buy a few things for the weekend. This very helpful gentlemen even push my trolley to the liquor store and was told by the employer of Montys to stay outside. As I got my car I had a R10 for the gentlemen ready in my hand to thank him for his assistant after he will help me to unpack my trolley. Open my car boot....WHAT....my laptop bag is missing. The security guard told me to go back to where I was previously. No one was at my car. The more I am trying to explain to him, I just left work this is my first stop the more he is caring on. As I got into my car I notice I still have the R10 and the very helpful gentlemen also disappeared. Today I phoned Montys Liquor to ask if there is any video cameras and explain the above to them. Basically the feedback is.....No cameras and sorry you the 7th person this week it happened to. What is Woolworths and the Montys Liquor store doing about it. The customers, customer cars and belongings are at risk...... This is unacceptable......

This place reflects it's surrounds: Not cheap, but a wonderful array of rarities in store. Not a huge shop, but very well stocked. Extended hours, so a good place you can dash to for that bottle of wine you need to take to dinner.

Very neat and tidy boutique style liquor outlet. Very friendly and helpful staff that make you feel very welcome.

A little overpriced... Purchased from them regularly twice a week for R400 or more and was told that a discount would be given but three weeks later and nothing has materialized...

The most helpful, knowledgeable staff in any liquor store I've ever been to. Well worth the visit.

This place is useless, if you order on uber eats, your order wont arrive and if you try to return an incorrectly ordered bottle they won't help you. Straight up...

It's a good place to make shopping for your liquor and their costomer service it's good they're manager and staff are good people they have good hearts
