Mountain Fly Fishing - Haenertsburg

Beautiful, tranquil and just breath taking. Absolutely awe struck at how beautiful everything is. Clean, tidy and beautiful rooms. The dining area for weddings etc is magical. Fishing dams, great hiking and so many bird and plant species to see. A little dirt road which is not terrible to travel to get to your destination. Highly recomend for a romantic getaway, a function or wedding.

What a gem!!! Peaceful and quiet! We wanted to catch trout and caught every other fish in the book. Our son didn’t want to leave the dams, he was the master fisherman!! Would recommend this place for anyone!!

The accommodation is amazing! Wood cabins that are built facing the lake. The cabin is equipped with everything you could need and was beautifully clean and neat. The scenery is absolutely breath-taking. Completely another world. Can't wait to go back.Rooms: 4/5

We have really enjoyed our stay. The scenery is fantastic, the birds and the wildlife is amazing. The weather, " you take your chances " it's the time of year. Best of all are the six trout dams that produce good fish every session. I will recommend Mounting Fly anyday.

What a great find. Two sleeper cottage we stayed in at the bass dam was fantastic. Small but it was clean and well equipped apart from no microwave. The trout fishing in the top dam above the reception for this time of year was an amazing experience 17 trout of various sizes in two days. We will certainly be back. The only downside is the road. If it has rained then a 4 X 4 is a must which we did not have and it was scary. We nearly got stuck multiple times and being off the beaten track we weren’t sure where we would get help. But all in all this was an exceptional place to stay and we are going back some day.

Amazing place!!! We would highly recommend this place. Ideal to break away from everyday stress. It is absolutely beautiful and tranquil. It is very affordable and close to Tzaneen and Polokwane. The cottage is neat and clean and fully equipped, lacking absolutely nothing. We received great service from booking to check out. I would like to call this my new favourite get away...

This is n very nice place to overstaying for n night weekend or even a week very nice dam net to your camp with warm water supplies by traditional donkey. Clean and good ablutions for each campsite.
