Lovely tranquil venue to end of a week on Johannesburg. The treatments at the spa was exceptional. The food superb. Loved loved the entire experience.
One of the best full day spa experiences. The team is friendly, professional and welcoming. The treatments were amazing and the food was great. Great value for money!
Great experience, great service, it was a present for my birthday and I enjoyed it. I went with a friend. there was an issue with the food and the manager kindly sorted it out.
EDIT: first visit was all-around great... the second time around was just unpleasant from beginning to end, the highlight of the day was leaving. Ice cold breakfast, awful atmosphere at meal times, lamb was more fat than meat, sticky toffee pudding was just a steamed sponge cake, and although the therapist was good, the constant screeching and laughter of a birthday group rendered all hope of relaxation impossible.
I had such an incredible experience at the Mowana Spa! A special thanks to Tinyko who assisted me and the all female team running the whole place. Incredible service, food and treatments. It's worth every penny!
I am beyond impressed with the management of this facility specifically Michelle H. She went out of her way to make sure that my reservation was booked down to the last detail and settled my nerves immediately. This experience makes me feel valued as a client and I am sure the guests that I have booked for will have an amazing time. As promised Mowana truly delivered. Staff made my guests feel very welcome and service was remarkable. Thank you so much. We look forward to visiting again.
My girlfriend and I went into the spa for a full day session. Mowana Spa was amazing in terms of bookings. They assisted us to move the days to accommodate us. The food was amazing. Upon arrival there was a full breakfast and beverages were available throughout. For lunch had king klip which we had to order upon booking. For dessert i had malva pudding and custard. There was also a high tea included. The staff was friendly and the spa is located quite centrally with ample parking. The price was reasonable so will definitely be back
A friend and myself went for the African Journey full day spa treatment. The logistics were well thought out and planned. We were greeted and efficiently shown our lockers. Breakfast was well run and we enjoyed the generous breakfast options. The treatments were planned well and everything ran like absolute clockwork. The therapists were friendly and very very pleasant. The lunch was well prepared and tasty, as was the high tea and farewell drink. There were lots of extras we didn't expect but it really made the experience memorable. The actual premises are stunning. I didn't love all of the treatments but enjoyed the hot stone massage, the leg and foot massage as well as the hand and arm massage. I really would recommend this place to any couple wanting to do something different or special. It was well worth the price in my opinion.

Your relaxing day starts as you enter the complex, by welcoming traditional singing. If you looking for a place that will make you feel like a king / queen to be pampered for a day. You are going to the right place ! The services are extraordinary, the treatments are out if this world !! Most of all, value for money ! I recommend this place to be one of the best Spa's in 4 ways area Well done ladies, keep up the good work .. looking forward to my next visit !!
