Very professional left feeling brand new thank you boom

Had neck pain and back pain, phoned and was able to make a immediate booking. The staff was friendly and the massage  deep tissue Thai worked great. Asking if I'm good the whole time during the massage and checking that I was comfortable. Definitely would recommend Baan Massage and will be going there again. Make sure to book as all the bookings filled up quickly.

Quiet, modest, unimposing Thai massage shop in the corner of Leaping Frog centre.  Very friendly staff and good rates I was charged R350 for a 60 min Traditional Thai massage - with no clock watching and as per the rates advertised in their brochure, website and pamphlet.  Went to get my back worked on and loosened - always had knots and tension. The massuese gave a brilliant general massage and focused on my back as asked. I'm no professional massage expert, but my back feels great, my neck and shoulders are looser and when I left I could not have faulted anything.  Would recommend happily, though if you're looking for a 'spa' experience this is not it...

Baan Thai fails in every single aspect! Checked the website and chose the thai traditional massage. Called to book, the man didn't take down my name or my number !, and informed me that the price is wrong and it's actually R100 more. Apparently they haven't updated their website IN FOUR YEARS. Regardless, I had a stiff neck from a long week of working over-time, and decided to go. The shop itself was disgusting. The pillow I lay on smelled horrible, and the "room" I was in was a tiny dry-wall hole. All throughout the session I heard plumbing running and toilets flushing, something the relaxing music couldn't drown out. That brings me to the shocking quality of the massage itself - I have NEVER had a worse one! For context, I lived in Thailand from 2010-2012 and have had many; I even studied the art myself. 1. She used her elbows to crunch my spinal cord to the extent that I was worried it would snap. You are NOT suppose to knead cartilage or sensitive areas, but both my kidneys and my neck bones were aching. 2. The woman forced me to take off all my clothes hardly necessary, a proper place would have given you yoga pants and a shirt, but covered me with a towel which she for some unknown reason was constantly pulling down. When I tried to pull it up for some modesty / privacy, she would give a laugh and yank it back down. 3. She left randomly a few times to go answer a phone or talk to someone at the door. Hardly professional, but I guess I was happy for the break.  Afterwards, I was charged ANOTHER R100 more than the man told me when I made the booking! I was so angry at this point that I just wanted to pay and get out of there. But I couldn't. They didn't have a card machine. Nobody told me that at any point. I had to run in the rain and draw money at a different bank than mine's ATM the only one that was working. I went there hoping to get some relief, but what they gave me instead was additional neck spasms and massive lower back pain that even now, days later, hasn't gone away! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I twist my feet to the point that I could not walk with out help, I went to Baan Thai and they fix it... The following day I could walk and work, amazing... Recommended
