Our Story is about a dream... a dream to share our passion for good food with you. A dream of building a family of restaurants where people don't need to board a plane to experience Mozambique. A destination where no passport is required!
Based on the authentic Mozambique "Barraca" which, in English means "hut". In Mozambique - in a home or on the street - eating, drinking and chilling is a way of life that is captured in a "Barraca".
This is Mo-Zam-Bik! Exceptionally flavoured food and a good vibe! An Education to live and let live! So that's what we have created... a chill zone reminiscent of hot sunshine, white sands, prawns and beer!

The place is buzzing with music and is so full of life. A beautiful place to have dinner and drinks and relax after a long day of work.Food: 5/5
Food was good but waiting time was way too long almost an hour and I was not impressed wth that. And when I complained I was told it's because we came late amd most of the staff had already left WTH, why then accept our orders if it's already late for you and yet you still have people eating inside... Kid-friendliness: There were so many kids they day we had and they appeared to be having fun. Parking: There is street parking which is sort of okay Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is a standalone restaurant and the entrance is on the same level as the parking. There is an upper floor which is not wheelchair accessible but we were seated on the ground floor and we enjoyed the atmosphere still.
The service from the water was excellent but the food was horrible, I've been to mozambik many times before just other branches, so I know exactly what the food should taste like, the food was cold, so so salty and my chicken was bleeding, manager offers me ice cream for the inconvenience, really? I spend over R600 on a meal, the only thing edible on our plates were the chips and you want to give me an ice cream to make me happy? That was an absurd insult!
Last night dinner, Platter for 2 was extremely disappointing. We waited for 45min, understanding that good food is worth the wait. The beef Espada was tougher than biltong, the knife didn't stand a chance. The worst and most dangerous was the chicken, it was raw. Wasn't feeling grand this morning.
Delicious food! Service was a little slow, but not terrible. Parking: Very limited spaces in parking lot.
Had a horrible experience, the waiter, was calling us babes, and I feel that is so unpleasant, she didn't pay attention to our order, the chicken was not well-done like we asked, had to call the manager who took it back and re-cooked it, but she as a manager also justified the kitchen action. I was not satisfied at all. Service was terrible food was under cooked.
Totally a great day out with the family... Loved everything about this restaurant.....Food: 5/5
The food was amazing, having really good flavors and good portions, too. The stuff was very accomadative and tentative it was not full, though We went on a Friday afternoon,by the evening they had live music which was pleasant. Not too loud, one can still hold up a conversation. We chose to sit upstairs, which is the warm part of the restaurant. Over all experience was pleasant.
