Mtn Hide Park

Went to the store to try and get assistance with my contract as data and airtime was never allocated to me. Constance Phandelani assisted me in the store and must say, wasn't very friendly. I have sent numerous emails and she has not responded to a single one and I think that the service that she has given me is absolutely disgusting. MTN really needs to work on their customer service as it is terrible!

Worst experience I have ever had. Went to the store to apply for a new contract Thursday. Two days later, I go in to follow up. They give me their store number so that I don’t have to go in every day. Phoned on Monday, I am told I will be phoned back. Nothing. Kept phoning, they don’t pick up. I miss their call on Thursday due to a meeting. Phone back immediately, no answer. I think they blatantly ignore the phone. Why? I am not there to complain, I am a new, paying customer, trying to take out a contract. I go to the Melrose Arch store today Sunday, because Hyde Park only opens at 10, they check the contract which is an existing account holder, and the system says approved. Why do they refuse to help me? Why do they refuse to pick up their phone. I am on my way to holiday and cannot go into the store. The other store tells me they cannot help me to finalise the business application because they all fall under different codes. Now I have to look for a new store during my holiday and restart the process. Literally shocked. Especially in difficult economical times to see people blatantly unwilling to assist a customer and to make sale.

If I could give this store negative stars I would. Lerato and Lebo had NO INTEREST in helping me with anything whatsoever. Picture this – walking in, asking for help, being met with blank faces, and being told to call customer service. I think they both would actually appreciate me telling people to go to another MTN store, or even to change telecommunication companies altogether, just so they wouldn't have to actually disrupt them.

The service was amazing. Connie was awesome and the I would shop there any time. The friendlyness of the impressed me. Well done mtn Hyde park

Great service from the shop assistant

This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had. No star rating as I now feel like a hated criminal. The lady at the front of the store has NO idea of how to treat a customer. She questioned me as if I was out to cheat everyone. Totally hostile and unwilling to be of any help. Do not go to this store, and MTN -I think you need to vet your employees for their service skills. I am still shaking...

The service at this MTN is absolutely shocking! I was the only customer that walked into the store and nobody assisted me. All 4 of your employees remained seated and continued with their conversations. I had applied for a new cellphone contract and the next day it was approved. I went in the next day to collect and nobody had bothered to tell me that the systems were down. I have called and called today to collect as I am phoneless and no one has assisted! It cannot be that from calling from 1:30 to 3:30 today that NOBODY HAS ANSWERED THE CALLS!

I walked into the store and received excellent service from Ayanda Sokhulu and Anna Reichert. I had to go back to the store to correct a mistake I had made on one of the documents and Ayanda still was extremely helpful. The only downside is that the store phone went unanswered when I did call. This needs to be attended to.

They don't answer their phone and don't get back to you, never going there again.

after one week and still no sim card available in store how pathetic cellphone service provider that do not have a sim card for a sim swap .
