This has been one of our family playgrounds since 2013. It's amazing how a place can just keep giving despite massive development changes.
Beautiful park, good for families and picnics. Playground for kids and tweens. Swings, slides, etc. Outdoor gym area. Path way to walk around and enjoy scenery. Has parking for those with vehicles. With security guard at gate. Only one main entrance. There is a restaurant in the park as well.
Security kicked me off the swings because it’s 12 and under only which is fair and I have no problem with that. But they do allow multiple homeless men to sleep all over the jungle gyms, loiter in the park and look at the children inappropriately. Does not feel very safe for children to play freely despite the restaurant close by. I wouldn’t visit it again

Nice place, but it deteriorated a bit from when I last went years ago. The bridge over the river was broken. People are living and sleeping around the park. The play area and outdoor gym were cool. Dog friendly also
Definitely recommend this park to anyone. Descent Picnic areas and playground areas. Nice clean park. The Only issue I had was the wooden bridge, my woman was scared to walk across as she thought she will step on the wrong wood. Turns out it's quite safe.
Great Park to take a nice long walk after eating delicious food from Truffles the restaurant. They also have a well appointed Kiddies play area
Fantastic place to chill specially if you have kids. Placed in the heart of Sandton the park has dedicated zone for kids with different rides. The park has a small lake and restaurant too. Perfect place for picnics.
Very good restaurant attached. The playground is decent but the park can get a bit dirty looking in parts due to the river going through it.
The park is horrifying. Several months of neglect has lead to grotesque smells from the water area. The Broken and dilapidated bridge is no longer safe for the kids to cross. Bathrooms are in a disgusting state.
