The Vision of the National Eisteddfod Academy is to encourage our youth to participate and celebrate in the magical experience of the performing arts.
The Mission of the National Eisteddfod Academy is therefore to present the annual Eisteddfod, Di Konokono Festival and related activities as opportunities where the youth can develop their diverse artistic potential.

The annual National Eisteddfod is an inclusive platform where the youth can participate and develop in the various arts disciplines.
NEA Young Performers Showcase:
The Young Performers Showcase events provide opportunities in the various regions where top achievers, as identified during the annual Eisteddfod, can perform. An important feature of each Young Performers Showcase is the award ceremony where the achievements of participants in each region of the Eisteddfod are acknowledged.

The National Eisteddfod Academy Young Performer Awards Competition provides a prestigious platform where the best young performers can participate, compete and showcase their talents, across the full spectrum of artistic and cultural diversity.
NEA Adjudicators’ Forum
The activities of the NEA Adjudicators’ Forum are the life blood of the NEA. This program cuts across all NEA projects and ensures uniformity in child-centred adjudication standards, as well as the development of aspiring adjudicators.
