SARS

Ridiculous. On the website it states that they open at 8 and I have been calling until 11 and there is no available consultants as they are not in. Work starts at 8 for most people and if not 8 then 9. Truly unacceptable but what can you expect from this government

SARS call center has the worst service, it is appalling to hold for over 50 minutes only for the line to be cut off. Who is exactly willing to do the job from SARS, are people waking up only to sit on the office chairs and not doing any job? This is the worst service I have ever experienced, firstly I have to pay for an amount that I did not know about, not that they have stopped deducting the money and have to refund me, its another run around!!

Very poor service from a guy by the name Paul who conducts the queue. He was soo impatient with me, ignorant and arrogant. When I was trying to ask a question he said I must just go back to the queue like everyone. Never gave a chance to explain or ask. He was even giving his colleagues attitude

The information desk was very clued up and ensured I had all the correct documentation. They have an automated ticketing system with TVs and Loud speaker, which makes things a lot smoother. I was in and out in about 30 minutes; and considering that I arrived at 11am and I was already ticket number 490, was quite efficient and quick when I left I heard ticket 568 being called, very busy indeed. The only issue I have is that the documentation requirements are not better documented online.

I must commend the invaluable help I received from Happiness Sithole. She went through all the efilling steps with me. I did my tax returns within minutes over the phone. Kudos to the Rissik Street Team. Special thanks to Happiness Sithole!

Public parking is a little difficult to find as the only parking available is on the side of the street since this is a busy public place most of the time. Their service is quite quick and they are professional and friendly. Despite the queues, arriving early would see one being served in under 20 minutes.

The service is just on point. I ddnt expect such a an incredible service from Sars. I thought l was going to be treated n a very odd manner but excellent service from the securities to Seipati who helped me with my filing. Got there early by 8:30 l was out and done one...I wish all government places were like this

I usually avoid government SPs in any 'downtown' because of their reputation over the years. This place came in highly recommended by a friend, and I was not disappointed at all. The lady went an extra mile to help and even saved me a lot of money. This is not to say that this will be everyone's experience but I have come to learn that people usually have a bad attitude towards some of these people because of the perceived reputation.
