They almost never answer the phone at The Villa. The bathroom in my grandmother’s room is always dirty. One can assume that this is the case in the other rooms as well. It is extremely overpriced, and medical care is for your own account. The house doctor charges an arm and a leg for visits. The food is really subpar. The nurses are very kind and caring, however, head nurses are replaced constantly- high staff turnover is always a worrying sign. When issues are brought up, they make 1000% promises which never transpire. I would not recommend The Villa. I’d go private- better care at the same price.
Its a Catholic old age home. It is a wonderfully preserved building with accommodating staff the building that is a landmark in Cape Town. Have always had a excelent experience there. My grandmother is homed there and from what I can see considering her situation she well is cared for.
Beautiful place. An atmosphere of home and pleasant place to be.
Very friendly and commited staff, management is a disaster. 2023 and still no back up during loadshedding

A very pleasant old age home that belongs to the Catholic Church in a beautiful setting with Table Mountain close to the home. Very good and friendly dedicated staff.
In the past few months we have had considerable experience of Nazareth House as a result of a very close elderly friend having moved into their Larmenier Assisted Living Care Centre. The place: a haven of tranquillity set in large gardens in the heart of Vredehoek with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, city and bay. The people: each and every one of the many people with whom we had contact was concerned, kind, caring, friendly and clearly competent in their area of expertise. The care: let us never forget that care for the elderly, especially those with multiple problems, is challenging, and never once have we felt that our friend was not being cared for in the kindest and best possible way. In our experience of many other facilities for the elderly in Cape Town, Nazareth House is by far the nicest and best. Hats off to all those who contribute to the functioning of this extraordinary place.

Beautiful location with peace and tranquility
I am so sad to have to report how disappointed i am in the organization, but i am doing this as its my duty towards other vulnerable geriatric people to write this review. My 95 year old mother has been at the Frailcare for more than 4 years and most of her clothes, cell phone, earrings, handbag and perfume have disappeared. My 2 sisters and i have had numerous meetings, emails sent but nothing gets done to the problem and it just continues. Everytime it happens my Mom suffers such anxiety.
