Very poor service delivery at this branch, long queues and hours of our time wasted. Neither Staff nor Management even checking on why queues are not moving. Ridiculous for a banking institution. Get more staff so we're not wasting our time.
Poor service..no system as they send you to the wrong people to be helped..only to make you join another line to be helped.. Bank opens 9 but systems aren't ready still logging in.. Staff busy connecting cables to make the Pc work..
Helped by a lovely gentleman behind the cash counter! I tagged him on my app - I really appreciate all the help today he was suberb and needs a promotion! I came in with my grandparents and they are obviously not tech savvy so online banking is not a reality. But he made sure everything was done in branch and I am very grateful thank you so much!
Over my last 3 attempts to get in, the queues went down the corridor of the mall, snaking back up and down. On this third attempt I begun from outside with 3 people ahead of myself. When speaking with the greeter, I asked what's the time to get in and out, he mentions that due to different issues such as system down times, different types of transactions and processes, he can't give a time. On finally entering, there's 4 queuing spots inside and 4 tellers that are operational. Within a few minutes, we are told that the system is down and then people started to complain that this is a continuous problem. One guy in the queue found the closet chair and took a seat, only to have the teller instruct the lady she was assisting to take the chair and sit infront of her. The guy wasn't to happy and sat on the floor before eventually waking up, laughing to himself and walked away. After 45mins to an hour, when a teller is free, I'm told that the system is offline and nothing can be done. There's nobody on the floor giving clear directions or advising clients. I then ask to speak to somebody and then the teller is available to now discuss the matter. After telling her that this is my third attempt m, she says it's covid protocol and when was I at the bank on the previous two occasions? I unfortunately don't keep track of this, and explain that everywhere else has the same protocols but the time lost here is ridiculous. She continues to push the issue of system down and they will give me a ticket to return tomorrow morning. A few minutes later a few more bank employees come around, including whom I assume is the bank manager, discuss between themselves and one approaches me and repeats that the system is offline and that they're now closed. After going back and forth, they eventually find a working teller, take all my details and figure out that the card was never in fact received at the branch and was returned due to the period of unrest. This is amazing...
Great service from Sachin Inderman. Thank you. Security staff is useless and do not pay attention to anything. I waited for around 30 mins with my 77 year old mum, who is extremely high risk and a compromises immune system, so waiting long is not ideal during this pandemic. I went with my mum into the branch and was asked not to stand with her in the queue, but rather stand aside, and only join her when she goes to the teller. No problem. While standing in the branch against the wall, and the security walking passed me 2 times, without saying anything. After me standing there for 5 minutes, he asked me to join the line. I was told by the branch staff to stand aside inside. How aware is the security in the branch for not knowing what I was doing, etc. I was following instructions from the bank staff. He saw me being told to stave aside, then asks me to join the queue. Absolutely retarded. Security staff that does not pay attention to the going on inside the bank. Then after doing our business at the bank and being assisted by the teller, and being told to go outside the bank and use the ATM machine, and come back inside to the teller. I did what needed to be done at the teller, and was on my way back into the branch, when I was stopped by the same security guard again, who did not allow me to go back into the branch, he insisted that I join the queue, and was rude and arrogant. Is it not our banking fees that pay for the running of the branch, staff, security, etc? So if we are the clients or customers who pay their salaries, why is it that we are treated like idiots? The same guard who saw me standing in line for over 30 mins, same guard who asked me to join the queue, and the same guard that didn't want to allow me back into the branch, while I was following instructions from the staff at the bank. It just goes to show, someone can walk in and rob the bank and customers and the guard will still be oblivious to anything and he is unaware of his surroundings, the environment, the people and what is happening. Sad state of affairs. It is experiences such as this that makes one want to not do business with you. We are glad we closed the account at Nedbank. Absolutely useless. Sachin, however, saved the day. He is friendly, efficient, and has customer service skills. Thank you for assisting Sachin.
Phoenix plaza nedbank does not even deserve my one star as I am forced to do so In order to leave a comment. Nedbank Phoenix plaza is the worst bank to deal with, rude staff, long queues going down the passage and to spend +- 1 and half hours to 2 hours only to be told they are offline.
A staff member at Phoenix plaza branch was very rude they need to not ask personal questions and do their job. They do not make the clients feels comfortable I actually personally hate dealing with that branch and certain staff members
Absolutely Disgusting service
