Xanadu residence is a male residence for first years at Nelson Mandela University (formerly known NMMU) South Campus and a brother residence to Melodi. A residence based on Brotherhood, Unity, Diversity and Academic Excellence and Responsible Leadership. It is close to the NMU Indoor Sport Center along the Aloe Road and boasts of its unique XM (Xanadu-Melodi) dining hall with its square.
