We have Professional Nurses, who are palliative care-trained and who provide physical, psycho-social and spiritual support regardless of race, disease, religion or socio-economic situation.
Palliative Care as defined by the World Health Organisation is: An approach that improves the quality of life of patients and their families facing problems associated with life-threatening illnesses, through the prevention and relief of suffering, the early identification and impeccable assessment and treatment of pain and other problems, physical, psycho-social and spiritual.
