Our mission is in our name: Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA.) We protect ALL animals, big and small.

Description

The Nelspruit SPCA believes in the five freedoms:
1. Freedom from thirst, hunger and malnutrition.
2. Freedom from discomfort.
3. Freedom from pain, injury or disease.
4. Freedom to express normal behaviour.
5. Freedom from fear and distress.
But the most important of all is, the freedom to be free.

Mission

We strive to protect and prevent cruelty to animals. We also uplift the welfare of ALL animals. The Nelspruit SPCA believes that animals have value beyond economic measurement, and are entitled to empathy, compassion and respect.

Man if we could adopt all of the animals in here then we would! Our donations are the least we can do and encourage everyone to go visit and find out how you can make a difference. SPCA Nelspruit only relies on donations and have NO government backing whatsoever. Please support them to keep doing what they do best and that is to look after the furry friends of Mbombela.
The BEST charity shop in Nelspruit. The goods are cheap and affordable. Please support them by donating all your unwanted goodies
The two women at the reception were very friendly. The animals seem like they’ve been cared for by the team here which isn’t always the case at pet rescue/care facilities. The house inspection was fast and informative.
Lovely little charity shop for the SPCA and they have another shop at the Village Spar.
They are absolutely awesome! Very helpful and caring! We need more people to help them out with their good work...
Its really sad to see that there is so much animals that were found lost. Otherwise it is great to see that SPCA is trying their absolute best to help animals that are in need especially in this icy winter. The staff there supports the animals to the best of their capability. The animal shelter is really supporting our community by saving our animals.
Please support this charity shop. They have awesome pre loved well looked after items.
These people don't get enough thanks for working so hard to help all animals in need, day and night... Thank you so much for being there when we needed help with our furry friend, that was part of our lifes for 17years, that had to be put down because of a unfortunate accident last year, the SPCA stood by us with love and care in that sad time of our lifes, we will always be grateful towards them for that... May God bless you all in abundance....
Such friendly staff at the gift shop - even the lazing cats are amazing!
A wide variety of Animals available to adopt as pets. From chinchillas, hedgehogs, to tropical birds, cats, dogs geese, rabbits, hens and a potbelly pig. All very well looked after. They have a charity shop too with bargain prices on second hand clothes, crockery, books and what have you.
