The key and core purpose of the organisation is to help members of our society with meeting their basic needs and empower them to reach new heights. We also aim and look at holding youth seminars and deliver motivational talks in various platforms and spheres of life, this is looked at as one way of giving back.
More on the founder (Nnusi Gazi)
Nnusi Gazi is a young man from Rustenburg currently residing in Johannesburg who has dedicated most of his working life into human service by helping those that are less fortunate. From his university days he became involved with a group of young people that visited various orphanage homes and youth centres.
Later on he became part of the railway to life initiative which focused on collecting school shoes for the impoverished kids in our communities under the guidance of Lupi Ngcayisa.
The Nnusi Gazi Foundation has was conceived a couple of years ago as we were travelling around, collecting and distributing school shoes. I realised that the challenge that most of the kids we gave shoes to was beyond just school shoes, they needed food, clothes, care, love and most of all support and attention from all of us.
With that in mind I believed that God had put me in this space for such a purpose and allowed myself to be a vessel that will be used to carry this torch forth. We all have a social responsibility towards one another. I believe in the principle of “paying it forward.”
The issue of philanthropy and human service does not only lie with some of us but it’s in all of us and that is why I find it very important that we all partake in this and make our very own country a better place to live in for us and the next generation(s)..
