Nu Metro Walmer Park

Love coming to this cinema. BUT, there never seems to he staff at the ticket stand. No matter who you interact with you are greeted by unfriendly staff who don't seem interested in the fact that without you, their jobs would be meaningless. On the plus side the popcorn is always fresh and the movies flawless and clean.

#PoeticReview Small theatre with average sized screens but shows horror movies filled with screams. Even though the sound has no loud bass Nu Metro could throw in free 3D glasses to save face. The pop corn and Coke is expensive and could rip your wallet if you’re inattentive. Its rest rooms are wheelchair friendly and staff are helpful and very friendly!

As far as cinemas go, they are OK. the houses are definitely dated, with little-to-no rake ie the floor is mostly flat meaning you end up with a kink in your neck by the end of the film. Tickets are reasonable, especially if you use ABSA rewards. Cherry Slush Puppy is a huge plus for me.

I have had a bad experience with Nu Metro Walmer Park, Port Elizabeth. I booked a Dead pool Poster with various staff members, from the cleaner to the cashier to the Floor Managers. After visiting the Movie House many times I was everytime informed come back tomorrow and check if it is ready yet. I finally spoke to Charlie who informed me that Mark, the other Manager kept it for himself to give to one of his own friends. Is this now fair practise?

Nu Metro Walmer Park is easily the worst cinema in PE. The screens are not clean and you can clearly see dirt during bright scenes, which can be distracting. The cinemas are poorly designed, and the screen does not actually 'face' you unless you're quite far back. Audio quality is barely passable. All three Ster-Kinekor theatres in PE offer a better quality experience.

Audio and visuals have been good so far for the movies I watched. Cinemas are a bit dated but seats are in working order and bathrooms are clean.

Nothing special here folks. Your standard movie theater but make sure you arrive well before the show. Often no one is manning the ticket sales station and you have to line up by the snacks counter with just to get a ticket.

Over priced for what it really is. Small screens and poor sound. My experience the sound had no bass...below average customer service.

Phoned 3 times never awnsered. Screens feel small compared to baywest and seating is cramped

Friendly service at the ticket and refreshments counters. Clean and well managed cinema in one of Port Elizabeth top shopping centres.
